zoom and FOV

To any photographer these terms are not used right
To a photographer

  • zoom is what you do when you change viewing angle(focal length) and keep the viewing distance unchanged. FOV will change change when you zoom
  • zoom is NOT moving the camera closer to or further away from the object. FOV will also change when you do this
