Next AW Groupies meeting:

2009-June-2 0930 PDT

(Agendas run over to the next week if one week is lost to a special event.)

Please add your own agenda items here!

1. Progress in Gridnauts interop

It has been about a year since the encouraging step #1 of "Gridnauts interop", ie. one-direction TP from a non-main SL grid to an Opensim instance. Clearly step #2 is long overdue. What would we wish step #2 to be? Discuss.
Some ideas for step #2, or for steps #2-5:
  1. TP in the opposite direction, namely from an Opensim instance to the SL grid.
  2. Allow these TPs to work with the SL Main Grid.
  3. Allow objects whose assets belong entirely to the TP'ing person to migrate during the step #1 TP.
  4. Implement the "interop bit" (in line with Philip's statements) to extend legal asset migration.
If there is any consensus on a reasonable step #2, this could be taken to Zero's office hours at 1pm, same day.

2. Agent Domain protocols and extensions:

  1. Implementation of a generic protocol for Agent Domain-based/mediated group IM and related issues.
  2. Generic service discovery for group IM and other OGP-specific services.
  3. Implementation of OpenID Provider (OP) and Relying Party (RP) functions into SL AD. Opensim already has both.
(Progress on AD is a foundational requirement and should be considered a running agenda item.)
