Avatars are shedding blue triangles. Some other objects do the same thing with different colors.

Solution

The Show Updates option on the Advanced menu displays visible indicators (colored triangles) when an object or avatar changes, by moving, changing textures, playing an animation, etc.

Press Ctrl-Alt-⇧ Shift-D to toggle the Advanced menu on. Click Show Updates.
