- [15:08] Joeseph Albanese: I only recently noticed it myself
- [15:09] Joeseph Albanese: But its quite hampering for estate owners
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: Let's ask around internally Alexa, and import depending on what we find
- [15:09] Cummere Mayo: hmm that strikes me a s a server issue. amybe the misfiling is why its gone unnoticed?
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: I don't have any further info atm, so let's go back to our agenda...
- [15:09] Bridie Linden: [2]
- [15:09] Joeseph Albanese: Yeah there is a work around but its....I donno a pain

- [15:10] Bridie Linden: VWR-8587[c
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-646
- [15:10] Bridie Linden: Pretty sure that's a dupe, yes?
- [15:11] Harleen Gretzky: I think so, Dirk's comment to Char sort of implies it
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:11] Cummere Mayo: i think it is but not enough info to tell for sure
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Hey McCabe, Welcome
- [15:11] McCabe Maxsted: f
- [15:11] Bridie Linden: Hey Yuu, triage just started
- [15:12] McCabe Maxsted: ahoy!
- [15:12] Alexa Linden: Hey McCabe :D
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: [4]
- [15:12] Yuu Nakamichi: hiyas :)

- [15:12] Aimee Trescothick: lo :)
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: VWR-4680[c
- [15:12] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-4680
- [15:13] Zen Linden: didn't we hand that off last week?
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: ah yes, we did
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: sorry!
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: what was the decision?
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: we said 'Asking around for repros internally and at Monday triage'
- [15:14] Cummere Mayo: eeps im sorry i missed that too
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: np
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: let's ask Tofu and Soft
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: and perhaps ping our friends in QA
- [15:14] Alexa Linden: we have friends there O.o
- [15:14] Bridie Linden: NExt up
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: VWR-2554[c
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2554
- [15:15] Bridie Linden: an oldy...
- [15:15] Cummere Mayo: definally can repo AND i killed the duplicate ont aht one (which was stupidly my own)
- [15:15] Cummere Mayo: and its still doing that even on .21
- [15:15] Squirrel Wood: the client or the website?
- [15:15] Calyps0 Janus: should be considered a feature rather than a bug
- [15:16] Harleen Gretzky: Any idea how it happens?
- [15:16] Squirrel Wood: because I never have the client fail to remember the password..
- [15:16] Harleen Gretzky: me neither
- [15:16] Bridie Linden: You can repro Cummere?
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: i do soemtimes
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: i think its an sisue with it nto propperly saving a file somewhere
- [15:16] Cummere Mayo: yeah i can. 90% on my laptop about 10% of logins on my pc
- [15:17] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [15:17] Bridie Linden: Hard to track down w/o a repro (as we all know)
- [15:18] Harleen Gretzky: Maybe the password.dat file is getting corrupted somehow
- [15:18] Cummere Mayo: my theory is this... if sl hangs up on shutdown or crashes it can corrupt whatever file its suppsoed to save that in
- [15:18] Joeseph Albanese: mkay
- [15:19] Bridie Linden: and now back to our regularly scheduled program...
- [15:19] Calyps0 Janus: hehe..may be right..plz ban me! :-)
- [15:19] Cummere Mayo: hiya sel
- [15:20] Joeseph Albanese: I assume that can be edited out of the transcript

- [15:20] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:20] Squirrel Wood: Oh these brain lacking idiots... will they ever learn that griefing only gets them removed?
- [15:20] McCabe Maxsted: ahoy selena
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: hiya selena
- [15:20] Bridie Linden: good timing
- [15:20] Zen Linden: if we have a solid repro, than import, but before then, it's just hard... though we could throw it at qa
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: [5]
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: next up
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: VWR-7159[c
- [15:21] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7159
- [15:21] Squirrel Wood: search keywords have been abused for a long time
- [15:22] Cummere Mayo: this one seeems an easy one to fix. simply put two lines of coding in that the add doesnt psot if a word is repeated more then twixe in a row
- [15:22] Joeseph Albanese: Good idea
- [15:22] Bridie Linden: interestgin
- [15:23] Cummere Mayo: and one that does the same for mroe then 10 spaces
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: i'll ping our local search Linden about this one ...
- [15:23] Bridie Linden: Cummere, care to add your comments?
- [15:23] Cummere Mayo: sure ...

- [15:26] Zen Linden: yeah, import and possibly toss at andrew... though it might be a "won't fix"
- [15:26] Aimee Trescothick: sounds like the beginnings of a fun new extreme sport
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: great repro steps
- [15:26] Bridie Linden: 4) Rub some pain cream on your broken ankles

- [15:27] Harleen Gretzky: I tried this the same place teh pics were taken, did not do it for me
- [15:27] Bridie Linden: Yes, let's send to Core Triage and see what Andrew sayeth
- [15:27] Selena Beale: Very nice, that is an issue that can hurt Roleplayers looks are everything
- [15:27] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:27] McCabe Maxsted: ghost prims, perhaps?
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: Add your experience in comment Harleen?
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [15:28] Harleen Gretzky: will do
- [15:28] Cummere Mayo: heh had to point an admin to that one they banned a palyer they thought was using a flight feather. jira comes in handy soemtimes
- [15:28] Bridie Linden: let's skip VWR-8340, I meant to take it off the agenda
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: Let's go on to...
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: VWR-8482[c
- [15:29] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8482
- [15:29] Cummere Mayo: well i cant repo it, but generally if soemthign cant be turned off thats a bad thing?
- [15:30] Aimee Trescothick: can repro

- [15:30] Zen Linden: import and toss to runitai?
- [15:30] Bri Gufler: just reproed for me as well.
- [15:31] Bridie Linden: Sounds good Zen
- [15:31] Aimee Trescothick: might have a look at doing a patch for that if I get a chance, should be an easy one
- [15:31] Zen Linden: patches rock
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: Next up...
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: VWR-8557[c
- [15:32] Aimee Trescothick: :)
- [15:32] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8557

- [15:32] Alexa Linden: nope
- [15:32] Cummere Mayo: wb sel
- [15:33] Alexa Linden: first time hearing about this one
- [15:33] Cummere Mayo: I have not but i suspect driver issue
- [15:33] Selena Beale: crashed like bill gate's windows ME driven car on the trojan horse virus in the hottest pits of hell
- [15:33] Yuu Nakamichi: gfx card issue?
- [15:33] Aimee Trescothick: weird
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: Well, let's leave it and see if we get some pix...thx for request McCabe
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: Possibly, Yuu
- [15:33] Aimee Trescothick: interesting to know if they are appearing that way to other people or just to themselves
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: Jay Leno effect?
- [15:33] Cummere Mayo: yeah thats what im thinking. can we also ask the other guy for his sys specks?
- [15:33] Bridie Linden: grins
- [15:33] Aimee Trescothick: LOL
- [15:34] Alexa Linden: boooooooooo
- [15:34] Selena Beale: anyway.. if we're talking about what i think we are.. then pics?
- [15:34] McCabe Maxsted: hehe
- [15:34] Bridie Linden: nods her normal sized jaw
- [15:34] Cummere Mayo: mccabe already asked them for some sel
- [15:34] Bri Gufler: I do notice its 64-bit Windows XP - for kicks I tried SL on XP 64 and noticed some bizarre rendering.
- [15:34] Yuu Nakamichi: yeah change to 'needs pics'
- [15:34] Bri Gufler: so it could be the 64-bit drivers?
- [15:34] Cummere Mayo: i think system specks for the second guy would be helpful too
- [15:34] Bridie Linden: hmms
- [15:34] Alexa Linden: warkirby's pretty knowledgable about things
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: Where's WK been anyway?
- [15:35] Alexa Linden: he's around
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: Other requests for info would be great too, thx
- [15:35] Alexa Linden: I see him in various forums
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: Next up...
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: VWR-8577[c
- [15:35] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8577
- [15:35] Gellan Glenelg: This has been observed on 1.20.15, but it's much more obvious on aditi / Mono 1.20 viewer. I asked Vektor about it and he said: [14:42
- [15:36] Cummere Mayo: hmmm
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: really, hmm
- [15:36] Bridie Linden: I suspect then that the Mono team is aware of this and is linke to their meta issue...
- [15:36] Gellan Glenelg: yeah
- [15:37] Selena Beale: a note on their foreheads reading "fix it fix it fix it"?
- [15:37] Cummere Mayo: um should we still import and assign to them?
- [15:37] Bridie Linden: I'll just make sure they know about it, as they don't always import straight away
- [15:38] Cummere Mayo: ok well i vote then we at least comment and say we looked at it
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: yup
- [15:38] Alexa Linden: I will mark with Last Triaged date
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: Gold Sart for point of order, Cummere
- [15:38] Selena Beale: pulls out a sticky pad and hands it to Bridie "Here ya go.. more effective with a sticky pad"
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: :)
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: VWR-8468[c
- [15:38] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8468
- [15:39] Cummere Mayo: ok dumb question... but why would a hud NEED to be linked to group?
- [15:39] Squirrel Wood: ya. when you change groups its not updated for attachments
- [15:39] Alexa Linden: ya, that was my question too
- [15:39] Harleen Gretzky: Personally, I wouldn't expect the group to change unless I detached and re-attached
- [15:39] Squirrel Wood: to run scripts on parcels that are set to a group?
- [15:39] Cummere Mayo: and as squirrle said its all attachments not jsut huds
- [15:39] Gellan Glenelg: I have huds which check llSameGroup
- [15:39] Joeseph Albanese: not a dumb question cuz I have no clue
- [15:40] Squirrel Wood: group info on attachments should update when you change groups
- [15:40] Harleen Gretzky: Or your HUD could rez an object that needs to be set to group to avoid auto-return
- [15:40] Gellan Glenelg: I think the problem is that you have the option to change it (it's not greyed out), but if you try, it snaps back to the old value
- [15:40] Selena Beale: Hmm.. are they sure it's not just tht hud?
- [15:40] Harleen Gretzky: That's only point 14
- [15:40] McCabe Maxsted: several building tools use huds to rez objects
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: yes harleen, I think everthing else is expected behaviour
- [15:41] Cummere Mayo: either way... i think import though im still not convinced of a need for a hud or attachment to change groups, since ti will do that if you unequip and reequip
- [15:41] Squirrel Wood: repro steps are waaay too complex.
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: agreen squirrel
- [15:41] Bridie Linden: nods
- [15:41] Gellan Glenelg: agreed*
- [15:41] Bridie Linden: 16!
- [15:41] Squirrel Wood: just attach, notice group, change group, notice its still set to the old group. reattach, its in the proper group
- [15:41] Selena Beale: well.. it could be that individual hud is coded wrong..
- [15:42] Squirrel Wood: its not a script issue
- [15:42] Cummere Mayo: nah it does that to all attachments
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: 17. Rub some pain cream on your broken brain
- [15:42] Joeseph Albanese: lol
- [15:42] Bri Gufler: :)
- [15:42] Cummere Mayo: not jsut huds. i say add a comment it affects all attachments and import
- [15:42] Joeseph Albanese: needs less info
- [15:42] Cummere Mayo: lol Joe
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: Can someone update with a simpelr repro?
- [15:42] Alexa Linden: hahahaha
- [15:42] Bridie Linden: simpler even
- [15:43] Selena Beale: Needs more asprin for repo steps
- [15:43] McCabe Maxsted: agreed with that; I can update with a better repro
- [15:43] Yuu Nakamichi: laughs out loud
- [15:43] Bridie Linden: Thx McCabe
- [15:43] Bridie Linden: Moving right along...
- [15:43] Bridie Linden: VWR-7337[c
- [15:44] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7337
- [15:44] Cummere Mayo: early .20 rcs did that to me
- [15:45] Bridie Linden: Let's get some system info
- [15:45] Bridie Linden: I haven't heard of this one before
- [15:45] Selena Beale: Need system info, I do agree
- [15:45] Cummere Mayo: yeah.... um one more thing
- [15:45] Cummere Mayo: lets ask if they ahve anything like searchbar, goole tool bar etc isntalled
- [15:45] Bridie Linden: Though, VWR-8445 is with an Nvidia card...
- [15:45] Cummere Mayo: *google
- [15:46] Selena Beale: umm.. would that matter Cummere?
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: yes.
- [15:46] Selena Beale: How? If this search is in the viewer?
- [15:46] Zen Linden: hmmm... ppc
- [15:46] Cummere Mayo: our search is based around google coding if i remember right and some of those toolbars break that coding
- [15:47] Selena Beale: my explorer has those but i have no issues..
- [15:47] Zen Linden: anyone else on ppc that can repro this?
- [15:47] Zen Linden: i vaguely remember monroe working on ppc search related issues
- [15:47] Alexa Linden: should I ping him?
- [15:47] Bridie Linden: that does ring a bell Zen
- [15:48] Zen Linden: yeah, it's worth asking him. It may all be resolved
- [15:48] Alexa Linden: ok
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: let's ask monroe about 8445 and resolve 7337 as needs more info
- [15:48] Bridie Linden: sound good?
- [15:48] Zen Linden: nods
- [15:48] Al Sonic: has google toolbar on his Firefox, but no such issue.
- [15:49] Cummere Mayo: bridie i included a pic on the next one jsut for you :P
- [15:49] Bridie Linden: a'ight!
- [15:49] Bridie Linden: Next up
- [15:49] Bridie Linden: VWR-8541[c
- [15:49] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8541
- [15:50] Gellan Glenelg: doesn't repro for me
- [15:50] Selena Beale: To be honest.. I had not checked that, all I have done on it is check video
- [15:50] Bridie Linden: Cummere, do you see this just after you log in?
- [15:51] Cummere Mayo: its nto a consistant thing as we disccussed in bsi the other night those of us tha have expereinced this
- [15:51] Cummere Mayo: and um yeah if i remember to check for it
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: well, I've added myself as a watcher - let's see if we can narrow it down a bit
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: others keep an eye out, pls
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: for me its fine right now but it did it for me earlier. soemone also said it happens in .20 as well
- [15:52] Selena Beale: I'll check later Cummere, see if it happens to me and all
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: i see
- [15:52] Bridie Linden: Thx for picture Cummere!
- [15:52] Cummere Mayo: yw

- [15:53] Bridie Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8536
- [15:53] McCabe Maxsted: is there a tutorial for creating video repros on the wiki?
- [15:53] Selena Beale: I use MSN all the time.. no issues.. have it on now..
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: can't repro
- [15:53] Alexa Linden: I think torley has one Cummere
- [15:53] Bridie Linden: [6]
- [15:53] Zen Linden: 500k of ram....
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: tada!
- [15:54] Alexa Linden: Torley to the rescue
- [15:54] Cummere Mayo: yeah its low ram on that one but real high virtual. and its not a memory issue
- [15:54] Selena Beale: yay for Torley!
- [15:54] Cummere Mayo: that was my frist thougths too zen
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: cuase it does it to my pc as well
- [15:55] Cummere Mayo: and i have over a gig of mem
- [15:55] Selena Beale: Well..hmm...
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: hmmm
- [15:55] Selena Beale: See if you can get a video please?
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: MSFT tech support?
- [15:55] Bridie Linden: j/k
- [15:55] Zen Linden: hates the fact that our client needs more than 500k of ram... but also knows why
- [15:55] Selena Beale: Microsoft tech.. that's like talking to a very stupid brick wall..
- [15:56] Cummere Mayo: *Shrugs* surprisingly zen, i ahve relatively few issues with sl on my poor old laptop
- [15:56] Zen Linden: good to hear
- [15:56] Selena Beale: Took me 20 mins to cancle my xbox live account..
- [15:56] McCabe Maxsted: aw, that's at least implying they're solid...
- [15:56] Bridie Linden: let's see if anyone else can repro and look for things in common...
- [15:56] Squirrel Wood: the client likes to eat up the winbugs swap file :p
- [15:56] Cummere Mayo: anyways i vote leave as is.... ill update if i can find more

- [15:57] Selena Beale: self censoring? that a bug or a PG catch all?
- [15:57] Zen Linden: yeah, what i want to know is if it repros after clear cache AND re-bake
- [15:58] Bridie Linden: Zen, would you comment?
