[15:01] Arawn Spitteler has unmatched powers of observation: Where's the Watermelon Dazzle Bat?
[15:01] Torley Linden: Arawn, to your right!
[15:01] Garn Conover: beside you
[15:01] Squirrel Wood: other end of the couch :p

[15:02] Hippi Hammerer: i have a question
[15:02] Geo Meek: Hello Tanyn
[15:02] Squirrel Wood: Torley, you need an AI to answer IMs for you :p
[15:02] Bridie Linden: welcome Zen! (from our WL team)
[15:02] Taryn London: Hi Zen :)
[15:02] Torley Linden: Yes Squirrel, I sure need assistance with that.
[15:02] Torley Linden: Heyo Zen!
[15:02] Zen Linden: Hola!
[15:02] Garn Conover: Hi Grey Zen guy lol
[15:03] Meghan Dench: This is gonna get confusing.... LOL
[15:03] Bridie Linden: Is Aric here?
[15:03] Garn Conover: i got 3 heads so im good :)
[15:03] Bridie Linden looks around...
[15:03] Garn Conover: he was
[15:03] Meghan Dench: I tp'ed Aric
[15:03] Garn Conover: he came in 3 min ago
[15:03] Meghan Dench: Crashed perhaps
[15:03] Bridie Linden: Geo and Aric should meet!
[15:03] Bridie Linden: :)
[15:04] Bridie Linden: One quick announcement...
[15:04] Bridie Linden: For anyone experiencing crashes on login w/1.19.1 RC0
[15:04] Bridie Linden: Ramzi Linden created a new meta issue
[15:04] Bridie Linden: VWR-5564[c] - Votes: 0 - Meta-Issue: Crashes at startup/login in the 1.19.1 Viewer
[15:05] Zante Zapedzki: ;p
[15:05] Torley Linden: Good idea to keep track of 'em.
[15:05] Bridie Linden: So I'm not planning to go over those today
[15:05] Lex Mars waits for the universe to rez.
[15:05] Bridie Linden: Our team is on it and hopes to have fixes soon!
[15:05] Bridie Linden: Well, let's dive in! Welcome all!
[15:05] Bridie Linden: Thx for coming!
[15:05] Bridie Linden: Today's agenda
[15:05] Bridie Linden: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Wednesday_Agenda
[15:05] Bridie Linden: (also on prim to my left if you're using RC client)
[15:06] Akeela Banting: Hey folks
[15:06] Arawn Spitteler: Clickables now open in their own windows, rather than in Firefox?
[15:06] Torley Linden: Arawn, you can change that in Preference.
[15:06] Bridie Linden nods
[15:06] Torley Linden: Preferences > Web tab, "Use external web browser".
[15:06] Garn Conover: or click the box in the clickable :)
[15:06] xyryx Simca: Script run-time error
[15:06] xyryx Simca: Stack-Heap Collision
[15:06] Bridie Linden: First up today...
[15:06] Squirrel Wood: Hey Akeela!
[15:06] Bridie Linden: VWR-5172[c] - Votes: 10 - Linked Objects have a Positioning Bug which makes objects rezzed in Windlight appear differently from how they appear in the Main Viewer
[15:07] Bridie Linden: Click on SL logo to bring up web page
[15:07] Bridie Linden: I just talked w/ Qarl about 5172
[15:07] Bridie Linden: See his comment
[15:07] Lex Mars wonders why he was just told that an object could not be created when he attemped no such thing.
[15:07] Bridie Linden: and please add your own comments so we can decide what to do
[15:08] Lex Mars: could you set that media prim to fullbright, please?
[15:08] Bridie Linden is wearing Tesla's shoes :)
[15:08] Meghan Dench: Ooh
[15:08] Geo Meek: :-)
[15:08] Geo Meek: Thanky
[15:08] Bridie Linden: There ya go Lex
[15:08] Torley Linden: Tesla Miles' fashions rock.
[15:08] Lex Mars: ahh, much better :)
[15:08] Lex Mars: thanks
[15:09] Zante Zapedzki: going by what I'm hearing, we have some for of html on a prim now in the RC <--- out of touch
[15:09] Bridie Linden: Any other comments on 5172?
[15:09] Torley Linden: Zante, first step towards, yes.
[15:10] Bridie Linden: Ok, moving on to next issue on the agenda...
[15:10] Bridie Linden: # VWR-5538[c] - Votes: 6 - Getting sculpty data from html-onna-prim has odd results - Seifert Surface
[15:10] Squirrel Wood: If the new method of rendering sculpties is more accurate then I would not recommend to go back to the old way of rendering them and just adapt the products.
[15:10] Lex Mars wonders why people in RL decide to pester him right now of all times.
[15:11] Squirrel Wood: Murphy's Law Lex
[15:11] Aric Linden: that might be a lot of code to write, Squirrel
[15:11] Bridie Linden: I haven't tried the repro in 5538...
[15:12] Bridie Linden: I'll import and give to Qarl
[15:12] Aric Linden: my suggestion is to take this in, and have qa do some repros and then discuss options
[15:12] Aric Linden: even better bridie
[15:12] Aric Linden: :-)
[15:12] Torley Linden: I concur!
[15:13] Bridie Linden: :)
[15:13] Garn Conover agree's w/ Lex and trots off to find a tastey griefer for dinner
[15:13] Bridie Linden: Next up
[15:13] Bridie Linden: VWR-4713[c] - Votes: 4 - objects still randomly disappearing, when camera not near avatar
[15:13] Harleen Gretzky: The third comment here is actually another issue and most of the pictures and comments relate to the second issue
[15:14] Torley Linden: Sad to see the comments in that get a little unruly...
[15:14] Meghan Dench: That's always sad Torley, hon
[15:14] Aric Linden grins at torley
[15:14] Bridie Linden is still reading
[15:14] Keisha Ninetails: is the LOD based on avatar position or camera position?
[15:14] Aric Linden: I'm staying out of this one
[15:14] Torley Linden: Small objects are culled more aggressively... *reads on*
[15:14] Aric Linden: I'm wondering if this is a by-product of impostering
[15:15] Harleen Gretzky: Doesn't impostoring only apply to avatars?
[15:15] Squirrel Wood: LOD seems to be camera based whereas view range is avatar based...
[15:15] Torley Linden: For example, if you rez two cubes and one is .5 m^3 and the other is 10 m^3, the smaller one will disappear sooner as you walk away, even if it's within draw distance.
[15:15] Squirrel Wood: or rather, mixed somehow
[15:15] Torley Linden: But this sounds somewhat different...
[15:15] Aric Linden: it should only apply to avs harleen
[15:15] Bridie Linden: Mesh detail. Torley?
[15:16] Azadine Umarov: is this really a bug at all?
[15:16] Torley Linden: Bridie, mesh detail doesn't affect that... it's not clear to me what exactly the problem is here yet... SLURLs would be useful...
[15:16] Keisha Ninetails: what's descripbed in the description is just LOD and isn't a bug
[15:16] Meghan Dench: Ask for more info?
[15:16] Lex Mars: This is exactly how it's always functioned, as far as I know.
[15:16] Azadine Umarov: that's what I thought at least
[15:17] Azadine Umarov: ordinary LOD functioning... can be remedied in most cases by changing draw distance
[15:17] Bridie Linden: volunteers to add (even more) comments?
[15:17] Bridie Linden grins
[15:18] Lex Mars chuckles.
[15:18] Bridie Linden: I'll resolve as 'won't finish' - not a bug, sound right?
[15:18] Keisha Ninetails: what, to say it's not a bug
[15:18] Meghan Dench: Or ask for more info
[15:18] Aric Linden is thinking of adding FOAD
[15:19] Harleen Gretzky: Personally I think the original description should be changed to the third comment or that comment opened as a new issue so as not to muddy the issue brought up in the third comment
[15:19] Torley Linden: This should be simplified and clarified.
[15:19] Arawn Spitteler wonders if the feature is simply not documented.
[15:19] Lex Mars: Yeah, this wasn't introduced with windlight, and has been normal behavior as far as I remember using sit-warp to get my camera really far from my av.
[15:19] Bridie Linden agrees w/Torley
[15:19] Bridie Linden looks @ Torley
[15:19] Torley Linden: I have seen things *like* this after using a sit-hack teleport. I can add comment!
[15:19] Bridie Linden: ty
[15:19] Torley Linden: =)
[15:20] Bridie Linden: Let's keep going...
[15:20] Bridie Linden: Next
[15:20] Bridie Linden: VWR-5370[c] - Votes: 3 - Detached "Contacts" panel cannot be hidden/closed via menu or shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-F)
[15:20] Jira URL-er v1.2: Invalid format
[15:20] Harleen Gretzky: But the issue in the third comment really is not a TP issue
[15:20] Lex Mars: Yeah, that one bugs me every day.
[15:20] Keisha Ninetails: when testing this though you have to be careful you don't move the camera outside of your regular draw distance though, because I can alt-click something and then ctrl-shift and pan my cam several sims over and nothing renders
[15:21] Lex Mars: I got used to quickly checking my friends list with the keyboard shortcut.
[15:21] Azadine Umarov: same here Keisha
[15:21] Bridie Linden: Looks like a good one to import...
[15:22] Meghan Dench: Do it
[15:22] Meghan Dench: lol
[15:22] Bridie Linden: yes ma'am!
[15:22] Bridie Linden: Next...
[15:22] Meghan Dench gives Bridie a sart and gets it!
[15:22] Bridie Linden: VWR-5453[c] - Votes: 2 - Rendering issues concerning objects viewed across water plane when Water rendering is turned off
[15:22] Bridie Linden looks @ Zen
[15:23] Meghan Dench: lol
[15:23] Zen Linden: hmmm...
[15:23] Meghan Dench: You're a great 'hinter' Bridie...
[15:23] Aric Linden: sorry, got interrupted
[15:23] Torley Linden: Hmmm this seems to rely on a Debug setting so it isn't generally considered high priority.
[15:24] Torley Linden: Advanced (formerly Client) menu > Rendering > Types > Water I think.
[15:24] Zen Linden: reading through.... i take it turning down the water fog and leaving it on is not an option? :)
[15:24] Keisha Ninetails: is a bulky workaround :p
[15:24] Zen Linden: yep
[15:24] Zen Linden: yeah, we can take a look at it, but it would be low priority... all the rendering devs are working on crashes more or less
[15:25] Bridie Linden: Agreed Zen + Torley
[15:25] Torley Linden: I'm with Zen on less water fog, or making a water preset which is more transparent...
[15:25] Bridie Linden: I'll import and put it on Pastrami's plate...
[15:25] Meghan Dench: Comment, Import and lower Priority?
[15:25] Torley Linden: Setting the Normal Map to blank is good too.
[15:25] Zen Linden: yeah, i'd like to see if we could come up with a "Build" preset
[15:26] Torley Linden: Sounds good Meghan. :)
[15:26] Torley Linden: I'll add a comment too.
[15:26] Meghan Dench: Comment rock
[15:26] Meghan Dench: /s*
[15:26] Bridie Linden: Next one from Alissa...
[15:26] Bridie Linden: VWR-5460[c] - Votes: 2 - llmozlib2 is missing from 1.19.1.0 source distribution (Macintosh library bundle)
[15:26] Bridie Linden: I'll import
[15:26] Bridie Linden: Next
[15:26] Bridie Linden: VWR-5379[c] - Votes: 1 - Can Not Set Group Owned Land Media Settings
[15:27] Zen Linden: oh, as an aside, Torley, we could use a blank normal map for the preset and no fog... i think that would work
[15:27] Torley Linden: Ah good idea Zen!
[15:27] Torley Linden: Lemme try that now...
[15:27] Bridie Linden: Hmm works for me
[15:28] Torley Linden: Yeah Zen, it's pretty clear when I use a blank Normal Map and set Water Color to mid-grey.
[15:28] Bridie Linden: But I kinda agree with the comment about the SET workflow...
[15:28] Bridie Linden is looking @ 5379
[15:28] Meghan Dench: Isnt that a new feature then
[15:28] Meghan Dench: ?
[15:28] Lex Mars: It works for me as well.
[15:28] Lex Mars: On my group land.
[15:29] Keisha Ninetails: two issues in one
[15:29] Bridie Linden: Oh wait, i didn't try on group owned land...
[15:29] Meghan Dench: First part seems like a bug but the second seems like arequest/feature to remove the steps that are 'pointless'
[15:29] Keisha Ninetails: and, raises the question as to what region it is and when it was last restarted
[15:29] Bridie Linden: I'll ask reporter to enter feature request for 2nd part
[15:29] Bridie Linden: I'll ask for more info
[15:30] Meghan Dench: : )
[15:30] Meghan Dench: Are you also adding last triaged dates to the issues we're triaging?
[15:30] Bridie Linden: Not on the ones I import Meghan
[15:30] Meghan Dench: Ok
[15:31] Bridie Linden: can anyone try 5379 on group owned land later?
[15:31] Bridie Linden: and add comment?
[15:31] Harleen Gretzky: I can
[15:31] Torley Linden: Thanx for all yer help Harleen.
[15:31] Lex Mars: Ok... considering i've been using the heck out of it.
[15:31] Bridie Linden: Gold 'sarts' for you Harleen!
[15:31] Lex Mars: ;)
[15:31] Harleen Gretzky: :)
[15:31] Squirrel Wood: YAY for SARTS!
[15:31] Keisha Ninetails: I have tried it, and it worked fine for me, though the region it was tested on is restarted fairly regularly
[15:32] James Benedek: lol
[15:32] Lex Mars: I tried it about 45 seconds after the option was available. All my land is group owned.
[15:32] Lex Mars snickers.
[15:32] Bridie Linden: Well, there was a rolling restart last night...
[15:32] Lex Mars: I've not tried changing it since that.
[15:33] Bridie Linden: Thx for looking into Lex + Harleen
[15:33] Bridie Linden: Next up
[15:33] Meghan Dench: Aran your title annoys me, too many ...'s LOL
[15:33] Bridie Linden: VWR-5457[c] - Votes: 1 - Setting Abuse Email Address in Region Estate dialog, then hitting apply will clear the email address you put in
[15:33] Keisha Ninetails: would help to know the region name and server version though
[15:33] Bridie Linden: I'll ask for more info too Keisha
[15:33] Harleen Gretzky: I coldn't reproduce this either, worked fine for me
[15:34] Lex Mars: Wish I had my own estate I could try reroing it with. ;)
[15:34] Torley Linden: :D
[15:34] Torley Linden: I can try to repro VWR-5457 quickly and come back!
[15:34] Torley Linden: BRB!
[15:34] Bridie Linden: Sure Torley, thx!
[15:34] Meghan Dench: : )
[15:35] Torley Linden: Didn't repro for me.
[15:35] Bridie Linden: Great, I'll resolve
[15:35] Torley Linden: Worked like it did for Harleen, I'm also on Windows XP SP2 tho.
[15:35] Bridie Linden hmms
[15:35] Meghan Dench: Wow Torley you're fast!
[15:36] Bridie Linden: Any estate owners on a mac here?
[15:36] Keisha Ninetails: part of that is being discussed now though among others, because I posed a question to the concierge about whether or not LL still recieved a copy or the AR even though an address had been entered
[15:36] Torley Linden: I wonder if it affects certain strings of characters... would help to have an exact addy.
[15:36] Colton Linden: That was the secret TP 2.0
[15:36] Torley Linden: I'd say this is safe to "Cannot Reproduce" and ask for more people who are affected.
[15:36] Torley Linden: I can leave a comment.
[15:36] Meghan Dench: LMAO Colton
[15:36] Squirrel Wood: Aren't you on 3.0 yet? :p
[15:36] Torley Linden: I sure like those "Teleport completed from" links in Local Chat (history). :)
[15:36] Lex Mars: The one without the progress bar?
[15:36] Lex Mars: :P
[15:37] Meghan Dench: Me too Torley : P
[15:37] Garn Conover: very useful :)
[15:37] Lex Mars hates the teleport progress blackout.
[15:37] James Benedek: .. was an estate owner and i use mac .. lol (anyone care to give me an estate :P)
[15:37] Meghan Dench: I could get you one to test that James
[15:37] Squirrel Wood: squirrels have the ability to teleport two inches from their current spot if needed. :p
[15:37] Meghan Dench: But not right now
[15:37] Bridie Linden: Aric, do you want anyone in QA to try and repro 5457?
[15:37] Meghan Dench: Oh James
[15:37] Meghan Dench: Log into my test account and test it!
[15:38] Bridie Linden: Next on the agenda...
[15:38] Bridie Linden: VWR-5327[c] - Votes: 1 - Does Not remember your preferences, when you log out and back in again your settings are back to default.
[15:38] Aric Linden: Bridie, it's already popped up into QA and been logged
[15:38] Meghan Dench: Amber Linden had this, she told me yesterday but I think that was on RC for her, for me it;s on Dazzle
[15:38] Bridie Linden: can u find JIRA ID so we can link Aric?
[15:39] Aric Linden: I believe Bambers logged it Monday
[15:39] Aric Linden: sure
[15:39] Aric Linden: hold please
[15:39] Bridie Linden: ty
[15:39] James Benedek: ill try repoduce vwr-5327 ( i use dazzle and im on mac osx)
[15:39] Bridie Linden: ty James
[15:39] James Benedek: k 2 secs..
[15:39] Bridie Linden: more gold sarts for Aric and James ;)
[15:39] Akeela Banting: Can'T confirm that with RC and win XP
[15:40] Lex Mars: I've not experienced this under 10.5/RC
[15:40] Torley Linden: Whoa, I thought I heard some cyberpunk-esque music.
[15:40] Bridie Linden: me too!
[15:40] Squirrel Wood: someone walked by with their mike open
[15:40] Meghan Dench: Hold a sec, getting word on that Bug to see if it is RC
[15:40] Torley Linden: Haha Squirrel.
[15:41] Bridie Linden: While we're waiting, let's go on to next issue...
[15:41] Bridie Linden: VWR-5520[c] - Votes: 1 - Strange and sudden video corruption in viewer RC
[15:41] Azadine Umarov: from screencaps 5520 looks a lot like the ATI VBO vertex bug, but the pics are not conclusive for me. and there is that second comment from an NVIDIA user
[15:41] James Benedek: nope.. worked fine for me
[15:41] Azadine Umarov: in any case, can attest the vertex bug remains active for at least my ATI card
[15:41] Bridie Linden: Ty James
[15:41] James Benedek: UI and sound settigns saved
[15:41] Torley Linden: I wonder if this is SL-specific... may be worth stressing it in a graphics benchmark app...
[15:42] Lex Mars: Just from the description, I would say heat...
[15:42] Bridie Linden: Torley, could u comment?
[15:42] Torley Linden: Yes Bridie!
[15:42] Bridie Linden: Ty!
[15:42] Torley Linden: =)
[15:42] Azadine Umarov: sounds probable Lex... my machine's on its last legs ;)
[15:42] James Benedek: could you comment on that for me .. jira doesnt let me log in XD
[15:42] Lex Mars: This used to happen on my PC until I put in an extra fan.
[15:42] Aric Linden: Bridie, i found the issue, I'll update pjira
[15:42] Bridie Linden: Ty Aric!
[15:42] Bridie Linden: interesting Lex
[15:42] Garn Conover likes Bridie's music taste
[15:43] Lex Mars: The graphics card gets a little too warm and starts doing very strange things to the buffers.
[15:43] Bridie Linden: ty Garn (but I like lots of diff kinds of music, too!)
[15:43] Torley Linden: Sometimes I wish I could make those weird glitches happen to make some art. But I wouldn't want it happenign to me in an undesired way!
[15:43] Bridie Linden: Feel free to add that info Lex
[15:43] Torley Linden: *happening
[15:43] Lex Mars: Quitting SL would allow the GPU to cool down.
[15:43] Torley Linden: Thanks Lex!
[15:43] Garn Conover: same but this stuff soem of my fav Mrewp Mrewp! ^_^
[15:43] Lex Mars: Ok.
[15:43] Squirrel Wood: gpu overheating... yes. I'd resolve as "Your computer needs bettercooling" ^^
[15:43] Bridie Linden: lol
[15:44] Azadine Umarov: would that also explain the memory usage issue he reports there?
[15:44] Aric Linden: squirrel, all the people in QA were complaining about that today
[15:44] Bridie Linden: I bought external hard drive for my mac @ home and then found out it doesn't have enough power from USB to spin it up
[15:44] Arawn Spitteler: Microsoft tells me that NOSMOKE.EXE isn't compatible with my power supply
[15:44] Hippi Hammerer: well im having all kinds of issues on the new RC..cant even remember all
[15:44] Bridie Linden: I had to buy booster cable that uses 2 USB ports
[15:44] Aric Linden squints at bridie
[15:44] Garn Conover: haha
[15:45] Bridie Linden: Next up
[15:45] Bridie Linden: VWR-5357[c] - Votes: 0 - http://d-oo-b.cc/444_2008_SL.mov decodes wrong
[15:45] Torley Linden: *tries loading it in QuickTime Player*
[15:45] Squirrel Wood: humm... decodes properly for me which is not at all (no quicktime :p)
[15:45] Colton Linden: crashed my FF
[15:46] Torley Linden: Hmmm... it isn't properly encoded to stream.
[15:46] Torley Linden: Gotta download all 52 MB...
[15:46] Torley Linden: That in itself would pose a problem.
[15:46] Daedalus Young: that weird pattern on the right snap I've seen before
[15:46] Bridie Linden: ugh
[15:46] James Benedek: proberly old version of quicktime?
[15:46] Torley Linden: I'd suggest re-encoding the video in a better format.
[15:46] Aric Linden: agreed
[15:46] Bridie Linden nods
[15:46] Torley Linden: I can provide video codec specs too, I was just working on that earlier, whee! *leaves a comment*
[15:47] Meghan Dench: YAY for Comments : )
[15:47] Bridie Linden: MORE gold sarts for Torley!
[15:47] Torley Linden: Resolve as "Won't Finish" then.
[15:47] Bridie Linden: at this rate I'm gonna run out of sarts...
[15:47] Bridie Linden grins
[15:47] Bridie Linden: Next...
[15:47] Bridie Linden: VWR-5358[c] - Votes: 0 - PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_PLAY does not work
[15:47] Aric Linden: suweet
[15:47] Aric Linden: let's take it and see if it repros in QA
[15:47] Bridie Linden nods
[15:47] Azadine Umarov: same reporter... so is that an issue?
[15:48] Lex Mars thought that was by-design.
[15:48] Aric Linden: ooh. good observation
[15:48] Azadine Umarov: have scripted similar and works for me
[15:48] Meghan Dench: Eagle eyes : )
[15:48] Bridie Linden hmms
[15:48] Drew Dwi: maybe a permission error? is their object set to group?
[15:48] Aric Linden: cuz if he's doing it on the broken movie, there's no way it'll stream
[15:48] Lex Mars: Seeing as how auto-start was made a client-side option.
[15:48] Bridie Linden: right
[15:49] Garn Conover chuckles @ torleys comment on one of his older bugs
[15:49] Keisha Ninetails: howmany textures are in the object?
[15:49] Azadine Umarov: as Aric says..
[15:49] Bridie Linden votes for Aric to leave comment!
[15:49] Azadine Umarov: unless anyone else repros it's part and parcel of the broken content
[15:49] Bridie Linden nods
[15:49] Torley Linden: =o)
[15:49] Harleen Gretzky: I can try to repro, seems to work for the OP in 1.19.0.5 though
[15:50] Bridie Linden: Thx Harleen
[15:50] Bridie Linden: I'll try it later too
[15:50] Bridie Linden: Next, VWR-5359[c] - Votes: 0 - Viewer crashes when choosing a texture of prim
[15:50] Bridie Linden: Anyone on Linux RC?
[15:51] Hippi Hammerer: was about to be but linux install crashed XD
[15:51] Bridie Linden: :(
[15:51] Meghan Dench: Don't worry, be happy.
[15:51] Garn Conover: lemmie ask friend if they on RC
[15:51] Torley Linden: BTW, anyone wondering about simple, good video encoding... I recommend http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/h264.html :)
[15:52] Daedalus Young: cool
[15:52] Bridie Linden: I can ask Tofu to take a look
[15:52] Hippi Hammerer: im too dumb to report a bug and i think ive found many
[15:52] Meghan Dench: hehe
[15:52] Bridie Linden: Next...
[15:52] Bridie Linden: VWR-5360[c] - Votes: 0 - Strange primitive params result in strange lighting effect on top and bottom faces
[15:52] Lex Mars sets his group title to be more useful at this meeting.
[15:52] Keisha Ninetails: I'm going to comment on VWR-5358 as well, because with the new texturte UUID change the script may not be able to get the texture UUID if they don't have the needed perms
[15:52] Torley Linden: Hippi, don't be so hard on yourself! My first few bug reports are embarrassing today, but I kept going. It just takes learning and some time. :)
[15:53] Meghan Dench: Aran remember when I first tried, for about a week it was constantly "How do I report a bug?" LOL
[15:53] James Benedek: lol
[15:53] James Benedek had to teach you.
[15:53] Meghan Dench: And E
[15:53] Hippi Hammerer: well its that i cant understand which category inventory issues belong to
[15:53] Arawn Spitteler thinks that's the problem, Torley: I can file a bug report, because I don't mind being an Arse without Art.
[15:54] Bridie Linden appreciates the effort
[15:54] Bridie Linden: and comments...
[15:54] Bridie Linden: Zen, you looking @ 5360?
[15:54] Torley Linden: Hippi: It's often helpful to look at existing examples, to see what similar issues other types of people have filed. And asking their advice too, the names you see come up helpfully in many Issue Tracker comments. :)
[15:54] Hippi Hammerer: or a strange thing when i type on IM on a crowded place the cursor jumps to chatbar by its own
[15:54] Zen Linden: yeah, i'd just need a repro
[15:54] Bridie Linden: Torley has great blog posts on filing bugs...
[15:54] James Benedek: afk a sec guys
[15:55] Zen Linden: oh, 5360... yes, looked at it
[15:55] Zen Linden: might be good for bigpapi
[15:55] Bridie Linden: kk Zen
[15:55] Lex Mars: Hippi, that particular bug is on this triage list at least twice.
[15:55] Zen Linden: he dealt with some of the overbrightening issues before
[15:55] Bridie Linden: Time for one more or any other hot issues?
[15:55] Hippi Hammerer: kewl
[15:56] Meghan Dench: Er can I have opinions on this one please?
[15:56] Garn Conover: is there an RC update within the past hour?
[15:56] Lex Mars: VWR-5448

[15:57] Hippi Hammerer: had that too
[15:57] Hippi Hammerer: had to reinstall
[15:57] Meghan Dench: Yeah I think 19.0 is mandatory now
[15:57] Spell Checker by Code Tracer (Version 20071216) - Special Edition for Geo Meek
[15:57] Bridie Linden: not yet Meghan
[15:57] Harleen Gretzky: SVC-1806 was imported Monday I think
[15:57] Azadine Umarov: can I assume that VWR-5527 is more feature than bug?
[15:58] Garn Conover: this is on RC not main
[15:58] Bridie Linden: Yes Harleen
[15:58] Meghan Dench: 1806 should have been imported a long time ago LOL
[15:58] Bridie Linden looks @ 5527
[15:59] Azadine Umarov: it seems readily prevented if one refreshes the bumpmapping to match the new page, so i'm leaning to feature
[15:59] Bridie Linden: I can ask internally about 5527, i'm not sure
[16:00] Azadine Umarov: perhaps something to mention somewhere in the applicable LSL wikis?
[16:00] Lex Mars: Erm, I didn't state it in the form of a question... VWR-5448 is one of many entries of the same bug... has this already been imported?
[16:00] Bridie Linden: We're coming to the end of our time today...
[16:00] Zen Linden: *sniff*

[16:01] Azadine Umarov: great!
[16:01] Squirrel Wood: OMy!
[16:01] Bridie Linden: Go forth and resolve and/or file new issues!
[16:01] Lex Mars hopes that his question was just answered.
[16:01] Torley Linden: *downloads*
