Welcome to the International Linden Dollar Marketplace!
The unit of trade in Second Life is called the Linden Dollar or L$. Residents use Linden Dollars to pay for goods and services provided by other Residents. Linden Dollar's can be purchased most easily using Paypal, Mastercard and Visa on the LindeX. The LindeX is the official virtual exchange of Second Life and is run by Linden Lab. Buyers will usually be able to buy approximately L$ 260 for each $1 plus a $0.30 fee.
If you do not have Paypal, Mastercard or Visa or if you'd like to buy L$ using EUR, GBP, JPY or other currencies, there are a number of L$ resellers. This site will connect you with a reseller supporting the currency and payment system most convenient to you.
