|purpose=
The community translation user group exists to discuss and facilitate translation of information resources such as:
* Second Life Knowledge Base
* Wiki
* Other relevant information

'''NOTE: Next meeting is Thurs, April 7'''.

*I just would like to mention why we keep asking about the translation of the terms of service (no need to discuss)
**German (and I believe most of european) trade law requires companies doing business with germans (most europeans) to either '''NOT''' have a localized website or if the website is localized to have available the terms of service in the languages provided by the company's website. If any company infringes trade law the terms of service are null and void. With that in mind and knowing which fines companies had to pay for infringement of european law I really think it makes sense to keep asking about a translation before Linden Lab is being sued and bankrupt as the result. *Volunteer(s) to take and post minutes of this meeting?
*Should Localization Central be public access during user group meetings?
*Which languages will contribute and how much contribution is expected from CT members (areas of contribution)
*Future workflow for contributions
**knowledge base
**new viewer strings
*** In my opinion ([[User:Irene_Muni|Irene Muni]]) this is very important. It can not be hard to find a working method to translate the new strings BEFORE the release version of the viewer.
**viewer strings improvements
**other miscellaneous requests
*Open bugs from Viewer 2 in Basic mode and future releases
*** Example for the Spanish translation: To date there have been three versions of the Viewer with Basic mode, but [https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25220 none of those versions have translated something as essential as the instructions], not logical.
*How to become a Community Translator?
* Four questions added by [[User:Irene_Muni|Irene Muni]] (in my opinion, these 4 questions would be more appropriate for the [http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Community-Translators-Forums/ct-p/CommunityTranslators Private Forum], but it seems that, today, the Lindens don't read those forums LOL):
** What should go on the [http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Community-Translators-Forums/ct-p/CommunityTranslators Private Forum] and what on the [https://lists.secondlife.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ctproject mailing list]? Which is the better way to receive responses from Lindens? (''from a not answered'' [http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Topics/CT-communication-channels/m-p/774431 question by Boroondas Gupte]).
** Is it necessary (and appropriate) the totally outdated wiki page of the Localization Potal about [[Top Translators in the Community Translation Project]]?
** If we have a translation of a KB article NOT suggested in the [http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Community_Platform_KB_Translation_Project KB TRanslation Project], where should we post that translation: wiki page, KB article...?
** Why the [http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Community-Translators-Forums/ct-p/CommunityTranslators Private Forum] is nos accesible to all the members of the CT group?
* Spanish translation: Any news about the "deferred" [https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-2358 JIRA requesting translate the Marketplace into Spanish]?
