We're not yet distributing pre-built binaries that correspond to the source code we distribute. That is on the roadmap. However, you have two options if you'd like to help out:

  • Download the beta viewer - the source code for the beta viewer is very close to the source for the open source viewer. The beta program is the best way to contribute to the QA effort for the Second Life viewer.
  • Building the viewer from source isn't hard if you have the right tools. See Get source and compile for more information on how to do this.
  • You can test your builds on our Test Grid if agni is down, the viewer/server are out of sync, or if you are concerned about damage to the grid or your account.
