Gesture Project

There is a possibility that new gestures will be included in Inventory. Mentors are asked to nominate gestures they feel are worthy and that will appeal to the new resident!! Any gesture that ends up being chosen, the creator will be approached to be sure they agree with inclusion.

• Mentors will be invited to a meeting to see the gestures and vote. Date to be announced!

Note - Only 10 submissions per Mentor please

Features that would make for good gesture nominations:

• Must be PG
• Funny or useful
• Cultural diverse. E.G. include modern asian bows, etc.
• Ideally visible from behind. (New residents sometimes think gestures didn't work if they can't see them from behind. E.G. winking).
• Owners/creators of the gestures *should be current, active residents.
• The gestures need not be freebies
• We'll take all suggestions, even when the creators are long gone but it's extra good if we can reach them.
• In addition to suggesting particular gestures, Mentors can nominate some of their favorite gesture vendors who might like to work with us on this mini-project.

Nominations:

Gather the gestures on a notecard with:

• Creator info
• Gesture Name
• Description/Category
• Free or Fee
• List Gesture Vendor name and location if you are nominating their gestures in general

• Female Only
• Special Use
