Tips for Teleport Issues

How do I find the 'Client' and 'Server' menus?

How do I rebake textures?

2007-02-19: People reporting trouble with global map.

2007-01-18: People report recurring client freezes every 5-10 minutes for a couple seconds and chat lag since the new update. No solution yet.

2007-01-18: If anyone but the sim owner tries to manage a telehub, they crash. Known bug, no solution yet.

2007-01-18: Several people reporting viewer crashes on teleports, no solution yet

2007-01-19: Why Request Help gets so many 2 or 3 character IMs... When you use Alt+Mouse to adjust your camera, releasing the Alt key frequently "activates" the top Menu Bar. The next thing that commonly happens is the user types "hehe" or "hello" or "hey bob!" ... Since the Menu Bar is active, the "h" selects the Help menu, and the "e" selects Request Help... You've now got a Help IM session open with "he" or "llo" or "y bob!" etc. (If someone wants to "wikify" this note, please feel free - Don Misfit)

2007-02-02: PSYS_SRC_OMEGA is fubared on llParticleSystem. The X and Y omegas work, but the Z is somehow not being properly reflected on previously compiled llParticleSystem-based emitters. As far as I can tell, this isn't affecting Particle systems compiled this update.--Patchouli Woollahra 23:45, 1 February 2007 (PST)

2007-02-02: ghostly objects in near-full parcels: In parcels or sims that are almost totally filled up prim-wise, prims may 'appear' that do not count in the parcel's "About Land", are undetectable even with Show Transparent, and yet still cause physical collisions with avatars and objects. These are ghost prims whose actual location in the sim is at the exact center of the sim (0,0,0). This is a known bug with the current updates and can be temporarily fixed by Linden intervention at the exact centre of the sim: removal of the actual objects will cause the doppelgangers to vanish and normal physics collisions to resume. --Patchouli Woollahra 05:17, 2 February 2007 (PST)

2007-02-02: Help for no Offer Teleport from Profile To help out with the current "no offer teleport from profile" situation, I created a simple SLURL Maker - HUD and "Bracelet" - versions. Free to take, copy and give away. Wear it, touch it, it "says" a SLURL for your current location.. copy/paste it into an IM as a Teleport Offer. You can get it - again free - here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Thetidia/26/229/21 --Don Misfit 15:17, 2 February 2007 (PST)
