Your listing appears in Search, based on the maturity setting of your land and the maturity setting of those using the Search tool. For example, someone who has set their own maturity setting to {{mrg}} does not see search results for {{mrm}} or {{mra}} listings. A Resident who has their maturity preference set as {{mra}}, but only selects {{mrg}} in the Search tool, only sees {{mrg}} search results.

Making your land searchable is a great way to draw attention to your home or establishment. To make your land appear in the Places tab in Search:

  1. Right-click on your parcel's terrain and select About Land.
  2. Choose the Options tab in the About Land window.
  3. Check Show Place in Search (L$30/week).
  4. Choose a category from the dropdown list that most accurately describes your land.

Land listings and maturity settings

Your listing appears in Search, based on the maturity setting of your land and the maturity setting of those using the Search tool. For example, someone who has set their own maturity setting to Parcel lght G.png General does not see search results for Parcel lght M.png Moderate or Parcel lght A.png Adult listings. A Resident who has their maturity preference set as Parcel lght A.png Adult, but only selects Parcel lght G.png General in the Search tool, only sees Parcel lght G.png General search results.

When listing your parcel in search, use keywords in your parcel description in About Land that match your parcel maturity setting. Parcel lght G.png General or Parcel lght M.png Moderate parcels with Parcel lght A.png Adult keywords in the About Land description do not show in Search results, regardless of the maturity setting of the person searching.

KBtip2.png Tip: If you have listed your land in Search and it does not show in the search results, check your parcel description for words that are not a match for the parcel maturity type. Only parcels in adult Regions can use adult keywords in About Land descriptions.
