A common confusion you may come across when creating content is: you've modified a skin or shape and want to sell it, but when you check its properties (in Inventory, right-click the item and select '''Properties'''), it shows someone else as the creator. This tends to happen if you use one of our system default avatar templates in your Inventory's '''Library''' > '''Clothing''' folder.

While you can't change the creator of an item, if it's modifiable, you can copy its settings to another item that does list you as creator.
