Linden Lab Official:Linden Home
Linden Home is a new Premium account feature in the Second Life virtual world owned and managed by Linden Lab. We've provided it in the spirit of helping Residents own land, and it includes a ready-to-move-in home while belonging to a themed community.
Introducing Linden Homes
Linden Home regions are located in the new Nascera continent. In addition to Support access, a monthly Linden Dollar (L$) stipend, and 512m2 land allocation without usage fees, Premium accounts now include Linden Homes! Use your included tier (What is tier?) towards a Linden Home in one of our four themed communities. Receive land for free with the home you select, ready and waiting for you to move in!
Linden Homes are for residential use only and provide an opportunity for Premium account holders to own land and a home to gain home ownership experience.

Linden Home qualifications
Premium accounts with 512m2 available tier are qualified for Linden Home. (Tier can be used for a free Linden Home or to buy land on the mainland.) For example, if you have a new Premium account — you've just joined Second Life as a Premium account or upgraded from a Basic account — and haven't changed your land usage, then you have exactly 512m2 of available tier.

Signup for your Linden Home
New account registrations
- Go to join.secondlife.com.
- Complete your registration.
- Upgrade to Premium as prompted.
- Go to Linden Home registration and log in with your Second Life account and password.
Existing Basic accounts
- Go to Premium Membership registration and log in with your Second Life account.
- Follow the account upgrade process.
- Once your account is upgraded to Premium Membership, the page will redirect to Linden Home registration.
Existing Premium accounts
- Go to Linden Home registration and log in with your Second Life account and password.
- View the four themed communities and home options within each theme.
- Click on your preferred home image.
- Name your home.
- Read the Terms and Conditions.
- Check the box agreeing to the Linden Home Terms and Conditions.
- Click Submit.
- Review your Linden Home information on the confirmation page.
- Click Go to your Home or use the SLurl provided.

- Meadowbrook - Suburban theme with winding roads around hills in a natural surrounding.
- Tahoe - Forest theme with winding roads around hills in rustic surroundings.
- Elderglen - Fantasy theme with winding roads around hills and giant trees.
- Shareta Osumai - Traditional Japanese theme with homes nestled in picturesque areas with mossy rocks and colorful trees.

Note: If all the homes of a theme are taken, the theme is removed from the theme selection list. Select a home from an available theme, or follow our Second Life tweets for notification of new home arrivals. If all homes are taken from all themes, Linden Homes will be offline until more Linden Homes are added. |
Linden Home Infohubs
An Infohub is a place to gather and socialize. Linden Home includes an Infohub in each of the four Linden Home themes.
