The Second Life mentors are hosting a Weekend of Learning at their Headquarters at Tenera where they share their wealth of information in a weekend packed full of classes.

Notes: This class is aimed at absolute beginners! After the class you'll get to take home a notecard / landmark giver that YOU made!

Description: How do you make a light from a prim? How do you change it's colour and brightness? How do you make a script do that? All these questions and more will be answered in a fun filled class!

During the class we'll look at how to create lights using the Build window, then we'll look at how to manipulate them using scripts. Class materials and funny jokes provided ^^

Description: While a bit advanced, the ability of streaming video web pages and information on a parcel is quite important and a frequently asked question from associations, individuals and no profit organizations.

Class is divided in two part:

in the first part you will learn how to manage the streaming parcel properties in a parcel, with specific caveats on group owned land and deeding issues.

In the second part we will see how to build an elementary object able to change streaming properties and to display movies, webpages etc on a parcel.


Notes: You should be already a bit knowleadgeable on basics of group handling and simple scripting.
