The following classes are offered by Second Life Mentor Coaches. These classes are not endorsed or run by Linden Lab.

The Second Life mentors are hosting a weekend of learning at their Headquarters at Tenera where they share their wealth of information in a weekend packed full of classes:



Title: Q&A Session

Coach: Tauwra Dingson

Date: Friday, July 11

SL Time: 6:00am to 7:00am

From newbie to oldbie questions! Don't have questions? Just come listen and learn!


Title: Fun with Particles

Coach: Simon Kline

Date: Friday July 11th

SL Time: 9.00PM PDT

Length: 1 Hour

Description: Particles certinally look cool but how do you make them!?

Come along and find out in this fun class where we create a basic particle script and learn how to make basic changes to it. We will learn how to change particle colours and how to use a texture in a particle.

Title: Set up your own wiki page!

Description: Did you know you already have your own resident's page in the wiki? No? Well, learn where to find it, how to edit it, and a little bit about the cool Second Life wiki!

This class is great for any mentor who isn't yet familiar with the wiki, or who wants to start their own page.



Title: Fun with animating textures

Description: Textures can be animated on prims! Come along and find out how in this fun class where we learn how to make a texture rotate, zoom in and out and even learn how you can use 1 texture to make an animation of several frames.

This class is great for people interested in making cool signs, or adding more life to their objects in SL.
