With the launch of Direct Delivery, the Marketplace traffic increased and our site has been struggling to keep up, resulting in the slowness many Merchants experienced since March 21. In order to address this slowness we had to make some changes which will be visible to Merchants. When Merchants update searchable terms (listing title, keywords, product features), it will now take at most 5 minutes for these updates to be visible to customers and when Merchants look for listings in their stores. Here are the places you should expect to wait 5 minutes before seeing your update:

  • searching from the main Marketplace search (item search, merchant/store search, store search)
  • in Merchant Admin, when editing a listing:
    • the list of inventory items returned when you click "Edit associated object" will show data that may be up to 5 minutes old
    • the listings returned when you click "Add related item" will show data that may be up to 5 minutes old
    • the listings returned when you click "Add demo item" will show data that may be up to 5 minutes old
