As of May, 2008, VTeam is happy to unveil the remodeling of SL Volunteer Islands! Last year's experiment with low management structure on the islands proved to manifest a creative jungle gym for the many Mentors who participated. This year, we have a new structure in place that will allow you to continue to add your creative and functional contributions the island, but with a new land management system that will be conducive to greater agency among each Mentor who gets involved. Please continue on to the SLVI Events/Attractions Policies article for information on how YOU can utilize SL Volunteer Islands for your own attractions and events.

  • SLVI W SKATEPARK

  Come on over and enjoy the halfpipes, steps, rails and even a bowl. SLVI's new skatepark is a blast! We have some free skates and skateboard. If you are talented and have the desire to contribute a better skateboard, please do!!!

  • A place for relaxation and communication

  I want to offer the place that you can refresh.I put communication space, a fitting room, a photography studio.I want to make a high-performance photo studio now. If you lend some wisdom, I am glad.

  And I like pretty devices. It is put everywhere of the land. You find it, and please enjoy it :)

  • Cooking Mentors

  A kitchen with some information about gastronomy, tips, recipes, the basic of the kicthen. Because we all need to eat on RL to Help at SL.

  • Mentor Meta Map

  Clickable real time teleport maps of the Help Island, Orientation Islands, and the various Infohubs. A train ride around the park and over the water will show you how to use it.

  • Doc's Mentor Clinic

  The Clinic is back!

  stop by and decompress and hang out with some mentors.

  • Radioactive's Skydiving

  After going to Doc's Mentor Clinic, you can go Skydiving at SLVIS (163,26,21), but please take a Parachute with you or you'll be back to the Clinic in a bad shape...

  • A Pun Garden

  This is a pun place to visit. Part puzzle, part garden, all silly, this is a garden of visual puns. Explore and see if you can guess the pun. Click on the objects for and answer. WARNING: Some of these puns are real groaners, so please have some tolerance and punderstanding. - Edward Griffith

  Right across from Doc's clinic!

  Take a load off and play the SL versions of DDR, skeeball, or "Phrase Invaders" (all machines are freeplay). Or head upstairs, curl up by the fire, and watch a movie :) ~ Xadie Katscher

  • Grafix

  Grafix is Golan Eildes parcel where he gives advice on how to fix common graphics card issues by updating your driver. The parcel stores manuals for Windows XP and Vista, as well as Mac OSX and some Linux distributions.
