Agenda

Updates

  • Second Life Server
    • No updates for the main channel this week
  • Second Life RC BlueSteel, RC LeTigre, RC Magnum

Upcoming Stuff

  • Group ban testing will happen in an upcoming user group. Details, about which viewer to use for the test, will follow.

Interesting Stuff

Any Other Items

  • There are competing Jiras for what should happen to the active group of an object which attaches to an avatar with llAttachToAvatarTemp():
    • Right now, the active group is always set to 'none' (not very useful)
    • SCR-395 says that the active group should change to the active group of the avatar it's attaching to
      • This seems reasonable
    • BUG-5183 says that the active group should not change, even if the wearer is not a group member
      • Seems more useful for 'game' type areas - e.g. let visitors wear objects which can rez objects on group-build-only land, even though the visitors can't otherwise rez on the parcels
      • Would this cause any problems?
