Problem: Resident is stuck logging in, or can't log in.
Possible Solutions:
- Delete the files in c:\documents and settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp
- Delete the files in c:\documents and settings\<username>\Application Data\Secondlife\Cache
- Uninstall SL through the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel.
- Reinstall SL using a new copy from www.secondlife.com/.
- Make sure you're not being stopped by a firewall.
- If you are, change the settings to allow SecondLife.exe (or contact your system admin for corporate connections).
- Make sure the grid is up.
- It should display "ONLINE", "RESTRICTED", or "OFFLINE" in the upper right part of your main screen.
- If it says "OFFLINE", you can't access the grid.
