Problem: Resident is stuck logging in, or can't log in.

Possible Solution:

Delete the files in c:\documents and settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp
1. Delete the files in c:\documents and settings\<username>\Application Data\Secondlife\Cache
Uninstall SL through the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel.
1. Reinstall SL using a new copy from www.secondlife.com/.
