I for one think they were right in deleting the list of keywords that you can't use in SL, in a pg sim, or pg parcel description. Like they said there were some incorrect keywords in there. Instead of going through them all and fixing the list it was just better to delete it altogether. If Residents don't want to get warned, temp-banned, perma-banned or worse(?) they should take it upon themselves to know the keywords you're not allowed to use in PG sims. But, that's up to them to figure out. If they posted the list of keywords that you can't use without getting into trouble for using them, then people would find someway to game the search system by not using them. I'm sure that in time they'll post an official list of all the adult keywords you're not allowed to use. I'd say until then if you don't want to get in trouble for using the wrong keywords, don't use any keywords. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks to Milla for adding a bunch more to the list. Could you note here what list of words you tested? It would make it easier to search if we know what's already been tried.—The preceding unsigned comment was added on 10:48, 27 April 2009 by DanielRavenNest Noe

Deletion

It was wrong to delete this list. It didn't violate the Editing Guidelines (only point I could imagine would be the PG paragraph tho I'd consider a list of keywords still PG as documantation rather than obscenity). Furthermore, it will prevent the contributors to contribute more content to any article because of the fear of irrecoverable removal. It only causes drama.

The reason given at thread 2407818 post 5987 isn't really a reason to remove this. False information can be fixed. If we'd decide to remove every article that contains partitially false or incomplete information, we wouldn't have much of a wiki anymore.

This is their wiki, so I accept their decision not to publish the list of filtered words. We have our own wiki at www.slapt.me, so people can go look there if they want. DanielRavenNest Noe 15:15, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
