I have Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope, and I have a logitech Dual Action pad plugged in and calibrated, but it seems that SL does not want to recognise the device.  Joystick calibrator sees it in /dev/input/js0.  Using a slightly patched SL 1.22.11.0 (compiled from SVN).

well i simply can't make this work. i've got the latest 3dx driver. i've installed it and even restarted. i run 2ndL and turn on FlyCam, but the device does not do anything. the graphs don't wiggle around, and of course the cam does not move. what am i missing? I have the same issue using the last RC SL client on my mac. From what I read on windows it works ok and its the same SpaceNavigator driver so it must be some SL issue on the mac.

LL: Can you please tell us what might be the problem? or issue a fix?

Thank you
