PyOGP docs

I'm going to start spending a bit of time on the PyOGP docs, with help from Enus. Initially, I'll start on organization, cleanup, and general editing. As I learn more, I hope to be able to contribute and edit technical content as well.

have a few desires/suggestions to start that are more of a stylistic nature:

  • I believe the name of this project should be spelled "PyOGP" (not "Pyogp") because OGP is an existing acronym. Also, a newbie might be tempted to try to pronounce "Pyogp" as a word (e.g. Pee-Yog-Up or something!) I would like to rename all the wiki pages accordingly.
  • I general, article titles should be real English words and phrases. Thus, "PyOGP Client Library Development Sandbox" is preferred over "Pyogp/Client Lib/The Development Sandbox", for example. This just makes them easier to read and understand. I would like to rename all the wiki pages accordingly. NOTE: Chat log transcripts and pages in the User namespace would be exempt (because they are not "real" articles).
  • I would like to eliminate Category:Pyogp Kitchen Sink because it mostly duplicates existing categories and doesn't add any value.

If you have any concerns or comments on these suggestions, please contact me. You can leave a message on my talk page, or email rand at lindenlab dot com.

I suppose that this can be archived now...?

I'm pretty sure that nobody at the 'Lab ever wants to hear again about the Open Grid Protocol, but I wonder if this page shouldn't be archived (or get at least a warning!)...
