This topic is not covered in a consistent manner.
The VRC (formerly the SLRC) is only one of many SL railroading groups. This article contains VRC advertisements and a link to their private web site.

Yes the creator of this page is member of the VRC. You should not feel wronged if the page isn't complete enough in your view. Just suggest addition or changes to it.
