8 October 2010: in "Why Bother?" section I changed this:

"Some Residents have figured out clever ways to create the illusion of a self-contained environment by putting a build inside a textured, giant sphere. This obviously doesn't work on the ground, where the terrain and water are visible."

to this:

"Some Residents have figured out clever ways to create the illusion of a self-contained environment by putting a build inside a textured, giant sphere. Such a sphere (or a cube) could be used on the ground as well, but on the ground it is considered courteous to change the exterior texture to transparent, in order to avoid adding to visual pollution. (If you live under a covenant check to see that either sky or ground placement or both are permitted before proceeding.)"

...because the "this obviously doesn't work on the ground" seemed untrue. One CAN place a textured-inside sphere or cube or other shape on the ground and build inside it, to create the illusion of a self-contained environment. I added the hints about 'transparent exterior' and 'check covenant' for completeness. Ponsonby Low 22:11, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
