- Exchange Risk API - Helps third-party Linden Dollar exchanges determine the risk associated with a particular transaction.
- Registration API - Enables you to register Second Life residents from a web page.
- Map API - Enables you to embed Second Life Maps onto a web page.
- Inventory API - Provides information on agent inventory.
- Live Data Feeds - Live data feeds provided by Linden Lab.
- Media Plugin API - Used by Second Life Viewer media rendering plugins.

- World API - Get information about residents, groups and places; also search this wiki.
- Search API - Enables you to search Second Life for events, groups, people, places, and also to search this wiki.
- Snapshot API - Get information from snapshots sent from the viewer.
