* Coke Supply shouts: you increased the prims from 1875 to 3750 but you cant put limits on usage?

* Ancient Shriner: to Khamon: Yes I do
* Caleb Ametza: they saw the paychecks coming!
* Dave Sparrow shouts: if youre able to have a system with AUTO RETURNS then your able to limit sims dont give us that lie jack
* Alynna Vixen shouts: is my question ever going to be answered or do I have to shout it?
* Jack Linden shouts: So we're looking at how we recognise that different usage level now, including how technically we might achieve that.
* Patch Linden shouts: ======> Jack you say the VALUE of them has gone up, can you tell me of the 66% price increase what % is used to cover ADDITIONAL costs and what% is for the perceeved value?
* Caleb Ametza: haha
* Nubian Bliss: cant be value when land was selling at 20L a m not near 4 per meter
* Sera Lok shouts: your question will beanswered in the order it was received, please hold -muzak-
* Skipper Burns shouts: Value now is ZERO
* Xplorer Cannoli shouts: give me your land then Skipper
* Dollaz McMillan: LOL
* Jack Linden: That's a deep question for this kind of forum, and I don't think we percieve it quite that way. Rather we are looking at how normal regions with their value vs usage compares to Openspaces, where the costs have been much lower for residents but clearly higher for us
* King Pascale: lol
* Patch Linden shouts: ====> What is your deadline for finalising what you will and wont do to smooth the conversion? IE. Free conversions, final say in usage, loads, etc....?
* pup Witherspoon shouts: oh ffs Raven.. just shut up and stop polluting the chat channel so we can get some answers
* cheyenne Fhang: [12:10] [[User:Tilling: Why|Tilling: Why]]:  "unlock" the "openspaces SIM? I mean before it was blocking a 40 and now we can 100, it's the same for "premium" ... why is that?
* Terrell Merryman shouts: Jack, can you shout your response?
* Patch Linden shouts: Jack Linden: That's a deep question for this kind of forum, and I don't think we percieve it quite that way. Rather we are looking at how normal regions with their value vs usage compares to Openspaces, where the costs have been much lower for residents but clearly higher for us
* Naughty Dreamscape: Since this overload was not the residents problem, how about a timeframe for people to convert their OS back to full Sims, without charge? At the very least...
* Naughty Dreamscape: ahh ok ty
* Nubian Bliss: "Obama says" spread the wealth
* Naughty Dreamscape: lol Whats to consider? Fair is fair...
* KOXINELL Lane: I bet it will only remain a "consideration"
* Jack Linden shouts: We don't want this to be a long process, but we do want it to be as measured and correct a decision as it can be. So I would hope to be coming back to the community next week with our thinking. In terms of the price changes, they will not hit owners directly for 60-90 days depending on their bill dates but we know this has to be wrapped up so we wil lwork as fast as we can to respond
* LaPiscean Liberty: Combine slight increase with original Owner grandfathering.
* Jack Linden shouts: are we doing okay out there? people seeing the Qs and As?
* Nebula Vacirca shouts: we do
* Sera Lok shouts: yes
* Elanthius Flagstaff shouts: Sometimes can't hear patch over here.
* Neil Robinson shouts: aside from the tards that keep spamming chat instead of just IMing patch and listening to you Jack, its all good, thank you!
* Penelope Ghia shouts: yes between the interruptions
* Fate Michigan shouts: why cant i ee jack
* Delicious Demar shouts: yes
* Cube Republic: everyone feels ripped off and now spun
* Fate Michigan shouts: see
* Frances Benelli shouts: YES
* medim Carter: hab garnix verstanden muss das erst bersetzen
* Sarah McCallen shouts: we're seeing them but i feel like i'm being chased around the bush with answers
* Illyria Illyar: mine was not answered
* Dollaz McMillan shouts: Yesah but i didnt see the answer to Transfer charges... can we at least trasfer for free?
* Rosie Barthelmess shouts: Q&A's plus ten tons of irrelevant crap from people who can't follow rules, but yes Jack, thank you.
* flight cherries: Could not find Animation 'go'.
* King Pascale: war eh alles nur mLL
* Sera Lok shouts: just hard to see your chat among all these people chatting uncontrollably
* King Pascale: nichts als ausflchte
* Erik Zorger: People Please clear the chat for Jack and Patch
* Neil Robinson shouts: can everyone who isnt Jack PLEASE STFU or chat amgonst yourselves in the CONCIERGE GROUP CHAT so we can actually HEAR the man we all came to LISTEN TO
* Caleb Ametza shouts: evryone calm down and let it continue
* Samyaa Savira: richtig king
* RayAnderson Beaumont shouts: i never got any answers to my questions i sent to patch
* Dollaz McMillan: neither did i
* perfumed Odets shouts: he said we can, dollaz
* Dollaz McMillan: he said hes basiclly wraping it up
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** perhaps if i add some asterisks, i'll be eaiser to see.
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> What about the people with just like 2 or 3 OS ... could you not offer us to convert to a FS without the cost of converting ? And we would pay the extra 45 bucks a munth for a FS
* medim Carter: all bullshit i think sorry
* Caleb Ametza: i nevere heard my question but just let him speak up
* Dollaz McMillan: fine
* Dollaz McMillan: thats all i wanted to kno
* Dollaz McMillan: is free transfer
* Kitty Barnett shouts: for those people finding the banter annoying: close local/main chat history and set yourself Busy and you'll only see Linden chat and noone else
* Naughty Dreamscape shouts: I spoke to the California Attorney General's office in detail about this issue yesterdat and they agreed that such an action as this could be considered "Consumer Fraud". Jack can you pease explain the thinking why LL thinks it is ok to heavily markey a product with a heavy up front fee then almost immediately change the terms of that product? Thanks.
* Caleb Ametza: go naughty!
* Caleb Ametza: lol
* Aminom Marvin shouts: Jack, I think so far that the community has made it very clear that it will not accept this new policy. This is an opportunity for Linden Lab to realize this is a bad policy before enacting it, and the inevitable mass exodus if it does. If you want to talk about cost, it is certain that enacting this policy will end up costing you far more than something acceptable.
* Cube Republic: The attorney general knows and their office is on constant busy signal because of this.
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** Yes, we're looking at making converting (in general) back to normal regions easier, and that includes waiving the conversion fee.
* Cube Republic: in cali^
* Zagro Ferraris: That is a good point
* Patch Linden shouts: ====> Jack, why not Gradfather the OS that are online and NOT sell anyomore via the Land store and Then fix the Backend?
* Dollaz McMillan: hey hey frags
* Sparklingbright Jewell: and please wave the Tier too
* Nubian Bliss: thats a great idea
* Dollaz McMillan: ltns
* Dollaz McMillan: this is another justification meeting.. no real issues solved but whining.. im out..
* King Pascale: in Deutschland, mssten sie als Monopolist, ihre Preis-Gestaltung offen legen..... schade eigentlich das die ganze welt nicht so toll ist.... dann mssten wir unsere Zeit hier nicht verschwenden
* Jack Linden: ***** That's a good question: if we grandfather, that doesn't resolve the extra load. And if we stop selling them altogether that doesn't help those that still want to buy them, and of course we have to balance any decisions we make with our position as a business
* Terrell Merryman shouts: what was Jack's response?
* Artfox Daviau shouts: will they continue to sell at the current price including upfront fees until the day before the price increase?
* Rosie Barthelmess shouts: Please stop shouting your questions into chat, they won't be answered here, IM them to Patch Linden.
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: Jack Linden: ***** That's a good question: if we grandfather, that doesn't resolve the extra load. And if we stop selling them altogether that doesn't help those that still want to buy them, and of course we have to balance any decisions we make with our position as a business
* Sparklingbright Jewell: i just weant what i paid for i feel cheated
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** That's a good question: if we grandfather, that doesn't resolve the extra load. And if we stop selling them altogether that doesn't help those that still want to buy them, and of course we have to balance any decisions we make with our position as a business
* Terrell Merryman shouts: ty Jack
* Jack Linden: hehe
* Aruba DeCuir: do you wnat us all to leave?
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> Is LL going to provide us with a method of knowing that our OSS is operating within guidelines or not?
* Jack Linden shouts: I'll also do some additional sessions over the next few days as I want to give as many of you time to talk to us as possible.
* Jack Linden shouts: Folks, we have 30 minutes left - so please IM your Questions to Patch Linden
* Sparklingbright Jewell: i ont sell something then remove a few scripts
* IM: Angel Tzara: but th elittle messenger thingy that goes with it works fine
* IM: RangerMickey Burner: Which crashes?
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: thats not promising!
* IM: Chavi Skomoroklov: SLim?
* IM: Angel Tzara: yes I did
* IM: Chavi Skomoroklov: www.massively.com/2008/09/03/hands-on-th...slim-client-is-here/
* IM: Chavi Skomoroklov: The interface is, much as you might expect, plain and unadorned -- but the quantity of system resources that it uses are likewise trivial. A mere 40MB of memory for the Windows version, approximately. Now... think of the very first Instant Messaging Client you used. You know, back before they had any features. That's SLim. Voice and simple text messaging... and that's it. Actually, technically it is even less than that.
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: thats what I have wanted for like forever
* IM: RangerMickey Burner: Did you log in beforehand with the SLim-enablde client, and then create a SLim account at Vioiox?
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: hows SLim working for everyone?
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: adium is awesome...
* IM: RangerMickey Burner: Sadly, the Mac client is huge, like they just removed the UI from a standard build. And there's no reason to use a third-party app, 'cause several Win apps have been doing this for a while. I want an Adium SLim plugin
* IM: RangerMickey Burner: Cool SL Viewer 1.21.6.0 (the latest rev, I *think* with built-in SLim) works just fine for me. I'll pack it up onto dropio shortly.
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: ME TOO!
* IM: Grayson Ethaniel: jee...
* Ancient Shriner: all of that is illegal
* King Pascale: In European Law its absolutly Illegal....
* Jack Linden shouts: Yes, we are drawing up some guidance on what will work well, what will cause performance problems and where the line is. It's going to be something of a 'guide' rather than a rule because load is a complex thing, but we're working on that now. In addition, for those that are really pushing them do hard that it's affecting other regions, we will be reaching out to discuss and educate.
* Patch Linden shouts: =======> Jack, LL is claiming a loss due to performance. But todays hardware is superior in performance per core with more internal cache. LL is using 1 CPU with 2 - 4 cores for multiple sims vs. the old 1 server per 1 sim model... Please explain the LL loss.
* Jahar Aabye: ?
* Naughty Dreamscape: lol draw a line AFTER the product is sold... That almost makes sense... Except that it doesnt.
* Zoha Boa shouts: so you had time to make new prices but did not had the time to make new rules ????
* Caleb Ametza: they always have
* Jack Linden shouts: Firstly, although classes of hardware do improve at each level, all the class 5s are effectively the same and the server spec that simulators run on is just one part of the equation anyway.. the back end databases, bandwidth etcetera also play a part
* Caleb Ametza: because they dont involve in their customers lol, friendly service much?
* medim Carter: ,,` Das ist ja ekelhaft... `,,
* medim Carter: Ups sorry
* Patch Linden shouts: ====> What's the average land price (ML) and does the decline of ML pricing have anything do to with your policy change regarding Openspace sims?
* Aruba DeCuir: fact is that LL have decided ......
* Kaio Obviate: I cant belive someone asked that ;(
* Jack Linden shouts: A bold question! I think we're looking at how we deal with the different levels of use, and performance expectations. I can't answer definitively other than th say that we recognise that different people require different kinds of openspace.
* Flight Band: All Go
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> How will performance improve if everybody actually pays the price increase? You are still going to have the same number of openspaces on the same server type‚And the problem is the same again just like it is if you had decided to grandfather them?
* Caleb Ametza: were only getting the same thing though, they cant do this the cant do that. we came to try and prevent the prices and are being assured it will happen.
* Coke Supply shouts: if we are paying $125 p/m now, CAN WE KEEP OUR CLUBS??
* Aben Criss shouts: =====> Can you provide a higher grade of Openspace sim using 2 CPU at 125$ a month an alternative between the two
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** I'd love to answer that with definite points, but as you know this is being discussed. Do we want to improve and invest in this product, absolutely. Are there options to do that which would fit with the newer pricing, definitely. Changing the level of simulators per CPU is one that has been mentioned many times in the forums and elsewhere. There are lots of options that we're looking at regarding improvements.
* Sofia Westwick shouts: This is a big time rip off trying to charge us 50 dolars more each sim.. All OF the old Sims need to be grandfathered ALL OF them Online Before this Extortion.... I have 98 open sapce Sims and this is nothing but EXTORTION
* Sparklingbright Jewell: if we convert to full sims whats to stop you hitting them with a 67% increase in a few months
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> You answered the free transfer question and you consider that as an option and I for one appreciate that .. but could you consider buying OS back at cost (say if you dont have enough left over for a transf. ) the resell value just went through the floor ?
* Aminom Marvin shouts: Can the Lindens PLEASE stop rewriting questions to make it easy to frame a spinned response to? The mean average Mainland for sale price is NOT an indicator of mainland health, and it is obvious that mainland HAS been seriously devalued- due to the lack of release of new mainland, and the continued drop in lowest "commodity land" prices that serve as a leader and indicator for the rest of the mainland sell prices.
* Caleb Ametza: lol
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** We haven't made any decisions on credits or buyback, although we have allowed refunds for very recent Openspace purchases. So I can't give a definite on that question other than to reiterate that we'll consider it. Obviously, it's potentially a tough thing to support
* conor Kaligawa: it seems you are just blowing a load of hot air at us Jack ... none of it really means anything does it ? really?
* Aben Criss shouts: its been tought for us to pay those sims too
* Lena Franciosa shouts: I agree with yu Aminom, just for example, the cheapest 512sqm plot on the mainland was about at 7/L$ sqm in may 2008, and now it's 3....
* YourA Misfit shouts: its certainly wasn't hard to raise the price and hang people with the cost, giving them a buy back out shouldn't be that hard, you still have the server to resell at price
* Cube Republic: most people want privacy not mainland, a lot of people beyong a few month since rez day dislike it
* Tizzy Teardrop shouts: There is a certain value in customer satisfaction and experience that you cannot measure with a numerical figure. Though this may benefit the Lab's immediate bottom line, ignoring the customer base will ultimately end in an exodus, as Aminom has stated.
* Nubian Bliss: again question is if there were 20,000 OS sold at 250 that is 50 million dollars where did it go
* Gnash Rambler: Nubian, you need to check the decimal point on your calculator.
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> You speak about load on the servers, usage, Grid impact - wouldn't it be better to address other issues that negatively impact grid performance first like camping bots from unpaid accounts, etc before slamming your paying customers? Also how about going back to 4 OS groupings, setting all 4 to the same core?
* RayAnderson Beaumont: its the win for sl )
* Coke Supply: CHRIST WHO IS THAT
* zizzy Umaga shouts: STOP THE MUSIC
* Coke Supply: mute sabretooth lol
* Aruba DeCuir: I addressed my question to Patch....... no one answers
* Coke Supply: where is he
* Aben Criss shouts: Jack you are just placing oil over the fire right now... we want better service for a higher rate not promesses that wont be respected
* Frances Benelli shouts: SABRE CLOSE YOUR MICROPHONE !!!!!! PLLEEAASSEEEE
* Coke Supply: ignorant bastard
* Renee Faulds: please people keep this civil
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** Other resource related issues like camping chairs and land cutting are actively being looked at, and will be dealt with though those mainland issues are separate from this Openspace one. They are all being worked on concurrently.
* Angelle Marquette shouts: Please be civil.
* Nubian Bliss: ok so they generate 1.5 million a mo
* Nubian Bliss: just os
* Master Quatro: bonsoir Clara
* Nubian Bliss: where does that go
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** as for pinning to a server or core, that touches on grid contingency and how we keep regions up, pinning like that isn't something we can currently support in that way.
* Caleb Ametza: how can we be civil, we are being told the same thing over and over. we got our answer, that lindens cannot stop this which is an outrage as there was no previous warning to start with
* Clara Young: Bonsoir Gab
* Caleb Ametza: they didnt know themselves what was happening
* Nubian Bliss: not counting the 35000 sims he mentioned
* Loki Ball: lol @caleb sure they didn't.
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: one crash they all crash
* Nubian Bliss: *passes out*
* Caleb Ametza: well they have said they didnt know it was gunna happen..
* medim Carter: chrash ?
* Clara Young shouts: Jack, what is the interest then to buy an open sim when it is half price tiers of a regular sim and a quarter of the ressources ?
* Loki Ball: they left
* Coke Supply shouts: *and performs like its got 1/10th of the resources
* Coke Supply: one poofed for me
* Caleb Ametza: yes
* King Pascale: That isnt important.... only money is important....
* Nubian Bliss: dont shout they may eject you
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: i dont see 3 sims now
* Caleb Ametza: lol
* Patch Linden shouts: =====> Will there be less OS per CPU with this Price increase? will there be better preformance out of the CPU's being able to handel more scripts textures Prims ect so there is a Value for everyones money?
* Coke Supply: no
* Caleb Ametza: ok , between money and us as your loyal customers whom may have been here since the start... who do you pick?
* Caleb Ametza: the money of course
* lmfao Imako: geez, they can't even keep their own sims running properly
* Coke Supply: lmao
* Caleb Ametza: my friend had graphical issues, went to a linden and they turned her away due to no payment info
* Aruba DeCuir: Patch...... we where told to give you our questions....... did you even read mine?
* Loki Ball: seems the questions are already prepared aruba
* Caleb Ametza: well no one else seems to be speaking and weve already been told they wont change it
* VISTAAOHUD V1 MAN VALUE EDITION v1: Could not find animation 'MAYANIM2MAN'.
* Coke Supply: no they are real enough - just cherry picked lol
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** We're taking the performance issue very seriously, so yes, will we be looking to improve them as a product. We have some technical ideas already on the table (such as the cpu ratio as mentioned).
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: Questions are made by paraphrasing what he sees in his verous chats can you amagen how many im windows he's got open?
* Lena Franciosa: pfff
* Jahar Aabye: we lost a Region, good thing it wasn't Patch's or Jack's
* Caleb Ametza: technical issues are being taken seriously yet weve just watched a sim go down and take quater of the stadium lol
* Jahar Aabye: (sorry)
* LaPiscean Liberty: Say buddie could ya spare a L$ for a avitar down on his luck?
* Simion Homewood shouts: Jack, why dont you refund money to all those who bought OS and dont want them after you unilaterally changed the rules
* KOXINELL Lane: Really sorry to use the chat, but Patch is ignoring my questions : some suggestions that could help us to keep our current tier.
* 1/ Why not to raise the PURCHASE PRICE of new openspace sims, or add a tax on openspace sims transfers to get the money you need, instead of raising the tier ?
* 2/ Can't you spare the servers improvements costs to all the sims tier fees ? That would make the raise more acceptable and fair for everybody.
* Renee Faulds: crys over loosing her 18 onths of work
* Cube Republic: lol
* Aruba DeCuir: we all spend a lot of time and money on our sims....
* LaPiscean Liberty: I just hope after dropping all my OSs they dont decide to let me keep them as is
* Jack Linden: not lunch for me, I'm in the UK.
* Erik Zorger: The issue is no price hike... do not soften on the issue.
* Jack Linden: almost 8pm here
* gwampa Lomu: Koxinell you think they will answer????
* King Pascale: hrhrh firstly 40 minutes to late... than a lunch......
* RayAnderson Beaumont: i didn't got answered any of my questions too
* Aruba DeCuir: no one did
* RayAnderson Beaumont: i sent my questions 1 hour ago
* Jack Linden: King: not late, our clocks have changed so the time difference is 7hrs now, not 8. which threw it out a little.
* rob Fairymeadow: www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2008/oct/28/virtualworlds
* Simion Homewood shouts: Jack no one cares where you currently are, just answer the questions
* Sofia Westwick: Jack what kind of comsation are we going to get? like I got 98 open space sims
* King Pascale: he didnt get questions...
* Clara Young: Simion dont be rude, it does not help
* Jack Linden: Simion.. lets keep this constructive please.
* Alynna Vixen shouts: I wonder how many questions we have missed
* Sofia Westwick: What kind of compesation are we getting Jack?
* Aruba DeCuir: then asnwer the qustions given to Patch!
* X-Flight Device - Wear or Attach to Fly ANYWHERE: All Go
* Ancient Shriner: Over 100 questions came into Patch I was told . . .
* Jack Linden shouts: ***** A little off topic, but we have made no announcements about the class 4 full regions. Any decisions we make will be blogged. So no news there at this time.
* Simion Homewood: ok, fair enough jack, let be contructive, what compensation are you offering to current OS holders
* Inara Marquette shouts: Ive missed Jacks last two answers. Can someone repost?
* King Pascale: next question !!!!!!!
* VISTAAOHUD V1 MAN VALUE EDITION v1: Could not find animation 'MAYANIM2MAN'
* Renee Faulds: bullshit
* King Pascale: We must flame... than he post
* Renee Faulds: you made direct reference to class 5
* VISTAAOHUD V1 MAN VALUE EDITION v1: Could not find animation 'MAYANIM2MAN'.
* Jahar Aabye: please no gestures, pointless database calls are not helpful
* Sofia Westwick: if you care then why are you malkimng our investments worth nothing as peopel will not be able to keep thier open space sims alot of peopel in then can just afford them and look at the economy of the word its not getting better its getting worse and this will drive alot of people out of thier LOand JACK
* Aben Criss shouts: =====> Can you provide a higher grade of Openspace sim using 2 CPU at 125$ a month an alternative between the two
* Sofia Westwick: and out of SL
* Alynna Vixen shouts: Ruth's retreat has missed anything between 12:45 and 12:52
* Sofia Westwick: are you not brave enough to answer me jack?
* yanis Dollinger: shout sofia
* Zagro Ferraris: Thank you for ancering my question so far i'll be here for the next one i hope its more of a round table of solution ideas .. you did ancer my main question about crushing/converting OS's at the least (and i mean least)  thank you .. Now i hope TP to home works lol
* Lady Sakai: Sofia .. Give them a chance to answer plz
* Jack Linden shouts: so we're about at the end of this session. I understand the passion behind the feedback and we're taking this very seriously. I realise there weren't as many clear answers as you'd have liked but did you find this helpful? If I do more sessions like this over the next few days, would that be worthwhile?
* Boaz Sands: yes
* Lady Sakai shouts: YES PLZ JACK
* Taimaru Hak shouts: Please do more sessions Jack
* Rosie Barthelmess shouts: Jack, I'd love to come to another session but I think what would make them truly helpful is a concerted effort to cut down on the peoploe who can't be constructive.
* Francesca Cassini: NO JACK, NOT PARTICULARLY HELPFUL UNLESS THE QUESTIONS IM'D TO PATCH ARE ANSWERED, SORRY
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: Yes but be more strickt about tossing random chat
* Sammy Edelweiss shouts: only if you answer the questions not just skirt round the issues and give us no clear answers
* Delicious Demar shouts: it was helpful - if an akward format. thanks for your time Jack
* Zagro Ferraris shouts: Parlementry rules work best
* Elanthius Flagstaff shouts: Not really helpful, none of the serious questions got through and you only answered the obvious stuff that any idiot would have known witjhout asking.
* Kitty Barnett shouts: could you please reshout the last 3 or 4 answers, Jack... I (we?) couldn't hear you over on LES-2 :|
* Rosie Barthelmess shouts: I'd love to come to another session as my question didn't make it to the list.
* Ikonn Giano: Jack do you think the SL economy can stand such a hit specially when land sales are at such a low do to the flood of sims and mainland being released? the RL economy is in a depression people are having a hard time making tiers with all these problems are you trying to force a down size that is whats going to happen ........... sorry ggot here late not sure what of this question was covered
* Jack Linden shouts: We do see this as a conversation, so lets keep talking sensibly about this until we have had a chance to digest all this feedback.
* Linmai Kagekiyo: patch, will LL open up some of the land that is now no rez, some of the water areas that are no rez now that they have effectivly destroyed open space ?
* joaopedro Oh: PEOPLE OF SL DONT LET LINDEN MAKE THIS ABUSE
* Rejha Vuckovic shouts: yes
* Simion Homewood shouts: Rather than more sessions, take the time to rethink it Jack, your making people hate the game and the organisation behind it
* Aruba DeCuir: yes no speech...... it aint a free land this....
* Lena Franciosa: Jack, you've already destroyed Estate owners investement by lowering simulators prices this summer, don't you think it's enough ??
* Alliez Mysterio: Instead of meetings I would like to know the bottom line of LL so I can make informed choices
* Gwampa Macchi shouts: YES, WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MORE TIME TO DISCUSS THIS WITH YOU... WHILE YOUR ANSWERS WERE NOT ALL TO MY LIKING, IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM... MORE PLEASE...
* RayAnderson Beaumont: i didn't got answered any of my questions so i think this is not helpful
* Linmai Kagekiyo: speaking as a sailor in sl thre new open space policy will be the end of sailing and pirate fighting
* Aben Criss shouts: its not worth paying 5000$ more per year per Openspace sim no
* Sammy Edelweiss shouts: JAck - please will you answer the questions we gave to patch that were not addressed here on the blog
* Alynna Vixen shouts: since my question wont be addressed i'd like to shout it out now: you said it yourself, 5000 of 32000 is mainland, the rest are us. US! and we are WORTH more to LL than Mainland, plain and simple! Address for us how LL justifies selling the SAME hardware on mainland for $195, to US for $295, and then offering even LESS performance to us for $500 aggregated price for the same server power and prims?
* RayAnderson Beaumont: may my problem was that i don't disturbed the chat
* Elanthius Flagstaff shouts: Agreed Ciaran, why not take questions up front and publish the answers on the blog. This format is slow and difficult to follow and takes up way more time than it is worth.
* KOXINELL Lane: so we talked about creating a new openspace class, about servers hardware, but our main question, which is "HOW TO AVOID THIS TIER FEE TO BE RAISED" remains unanswered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Gwampa Macchi shouts: and can I suggest that if the RULES are IM Patch, that you just eject the rabble so we can not waste all our time
* Jack Linden shouts: okay, so I will try to add some more times to the calendar (the public office hours one).
* Neil Robinson agrees KICK THE MAINCHAT SPAMMERS
* Ancient Shriner: To Elantius, that's what the forum was for . . .
* Lady Sakai shouts: TX JACK :: HOPE TO SEE MORE OF YOU ... OVER AND OUT
* Renee Faulds: thank you for your time Jack Linden
* Sparklingbright Jewell: i have lost my faith in you i feel cheated
* Jahar Aabye shouts: Yes, I think ejecting people who cannot abide by the rules might make things go a bit easier. I would not only cut down on the chat spam, but reduce the Agent Time, too
* Linmai Kagekiyo: you have cheated us all
* Patch Linden shouts: Bye everyone! Many great questions, I can see many more to be answered, I took them all in order and passed them on as they came in!
* Jack Linden shouts: thank you all for taking the time, and thanks for keeping this (huge) gathering as civil as it was.
* Alliez Mysterio: He has not, LL has
* Simion Homewood shouts: your a rippoff and a thief
* KOXINELL Lane: you should stay 66% more time to this office hour !
* Penelope Ghia shouts: Thank you Jack and Patch.
* King Pascale: hrhrhrhrhr
* conor Kaligawa shouts: Jahar will you please direct your aggression in the right direction
* Jalijanda Cuttita: And We want many Turkish people Turkish language in Sl pls)
* Alliez Mysterio: Grow up Simion
* Jalijanda Cuttita: sorry
* Boaz Sands: Can you list all the questions you got and post answers in a blog Patches?
