Revision as of 03:33, 15 January 2007

This is a list of tasks I'm intending to do myself, but please state your intentions on the talk page before doing them for me.

Things to do tomorrow

  1. Tweak Template:visl to be more "efficient".
    • Create generic templates for converting ISO 639-1 codes to the english and native names
  2. Move the Linden Lab Employee templates into a monolithic structure.

Things to do by the end of the month

  1. Create a draft for Celestial Effects
  2. Document Linden Lab policies (Terms of Service & Community Standards for both grids) so that Residents may more easily track changes in the TOS & CS over time via the History feature of the SL Wiki.

Long term projects

  1. Project:Internationalisation - See Draft for details.
  2. Profile Customisation - Intending to document the templates useful for customising the SL Wiki user pages. Will also cover customising in-world profiles.
  3. Celestial Effects - See Celestial Effects for initial idea based on proposal by Carnildo Greenacre
  4. Migrating Help guides to the Help namespace - Pretty much because it makes complete logical sense, and will mean Residents can have an easier way to search through all the Help Files.
  5. Enquire about migrating the Knowledge Base to the wiki - Most of the content here would go straight into the Help namespace.
  6. User:SignpostMarv Martin/Sandbox/Project:Atlas - Intends to use MediaWiki features to present the end-user with a static, but more detailed version of what is available via the SL Maps API.

Things that need to wait for options to be enabled

  1. Implement my flexi-flag script in WikiCode
  2. Create Icons for:
    • Speaking (languages)
    • Reading (languages)
    • Scripting LSL2
    • Building
    • Texturing

Things that need to wait for extensions to be added

  1. Upgrade all templates to make the best use of the extra functionality
