Hi this is Skipper Abel and in First Life I am a Programme Area Leader and VLE Administrator at Bromley College in the UK. Here at Bromley we have been using the Moodle VLE for just over 3 years now as both a course administration tool and learning platform with some encouraging success. Now we are enthusiastically looking to Second Life as a natural extension of that work. My location in SL is at Shimmer Island in the Daydream Island group where I have installed a large beach house that has a small presentation area on the ground floor with the beginnings of a library on the first, and soon I will be trialing some virtual learning with some volunteer students.
