Avec le changement du procés pour etre mis dans la groupe des mentors officielle, il est devenu necessaire que les "apprentice mentors" (mentors apprenti) participent dans une classe d'orientation et ensuite participent dans un "Shadowing Experience" avec un Apprentice Buddy comme guide. Shadowing Experience avec Tom32 Anatine (c'est moi) comme Apprentice Buddy

En general, le plus important que vous deviez savoir c'est que le "Shadowing Experience" peut varier entre l'Apprentice Buddy que vous avez choisi. Tous les Apprentice Buddies peuvent creer leur méthode pour faire leur Shadowing Experience mais il est absolument necessaire que le Shadowing suit le reglementaire du VTeam. (vous trouvez le reglementaire au lien dessus)

En addition d'un notecard que vous receviez avant de commencer le shadowing avec moi, je veux bien vous informer au sujet de mon shadowing et ce que j'expectes de vous.

En General

Comme tous nos actions comme mentor doivent etre amusent a un certain part, cela compte aussi bien pour le shadowing. Ne vous inquietez pas que le shadowing sera une classe comme au collège, je vais faire mon mieux pour le faire amusent, mais nous devons realiser que le shadowing est une partie requis pour devenir un mentor, donc il nous faut d'etre serieux au meme instant. Le plus important pour moi c'est que vous vous interessez aux affairs que je vous presente, n'hesitez pas de poser des questions, mais je n'aimerait pas si je suis interrompu pendant que j'explique et au fin je dois corriger vos idées. Justement ecoutez ce que je dis, et ensuite nous pouvos discuter et je vais donner les reponse au questions.. Pendant le Shadowing, tous les parties (Apprentice Mentors & Apprentice Buddy) doivent absolument suivre le TAO des Voluntaires et les Terms of Service (y inclu les Community Standards) de Secondlife. Si un de mes Apprentice Mentors ne suit pas ce reglementaire, je refusera de créer le voucher (le ticket necessaire pour etre transferé dans le groupe mentors) et si necessaire je prendra des autres actions.

Le Programme

Le Début: Chouette, je suis tout neuf! (Volunteers OI)
1er Station: Ooops, ca marche comment pour voler encore? (Orientation Island Public)
2ème Station: Euh excuse moi cher mentor, peut etre vous pouvez m'aider? (Help Island Public or Help Island Public2)
3ème Station: Je suis un grand avatar et tout d'un coup dans un grande monde (a Welcome Area)
4ème Station: Une petite promenade (SLVEC)

La Shadowing Experience commence au Volunteers OI, une copie precis des Orientation Islands. Ici on va regarder lesquels questions les nouveaux résidents peuvent avoir et aous allons nous promener un peu pour vous montrer les parties ou il y a typiquement des problèmes. Pour faire cela plus simple, je vais jouer le role d'un nouveau résident et vous devez m'aider, peut etre vous pouvez me donner des notecards que vous avez déjà trouvé, ou justement donnez moi un bienvenue chaleureux. Biensur, dès que vous avez des questions, n'hesitez pas de demander... Peut etre j'ai l'apparence d'un nouveau résident mais je suis toujours votre Apprentice Buddy!

First Station: Ooops, how did I fly again? (Orientation Island Public)

After this rather "private" part of the shadowing experience, I will start to take you on a trip to the several help locations in second life, please be reminded that you can volunteer EVERYWHERE, so there are no specific places that are just used to help and you may not help anywhere else... The first station on our trip will be Orientation Island Public, as you know this is a place that residents can visit when they have missed something on the Orientation Island when joining Second Life, or they just want to refresh their knowledge.

Second Station: Erm sorry dear mentor, maybe you can help me? (Help Island Public or Help Island Public2)

Okay, here we go, new place new fun... the public Help Islands mainly are the places that residents go to in order to receive, sometimes they use this place to party, and in other cases to let their steam go off, so be prepared! This will be a great place to show me how cool headed you can provide help in stressful situations!

Third Station: I'm a big big... in a big world... (a Welcome Area)

The welcome areas are the places that new residents arrive at once that they leave the Help Island after having been on the Orientation Island before that. They take their first steps in the big world of the maingrid, and often they feel a bit lost, so we are there for them!

Fourth Station: A little tour (SLVEC)

We are almost done now! SLVEC is one of our nice places that are exclusively open for volunteers, here you will find alot of helpful tools and information and you can use this place to socialize with other mentors or attend classes. I will show you around a bit and if we have some time left I might show you another location...

After all this

If everything went fine, I will be proud to issue your voucher. From there it will take up to one week until you are transfered into the main group. Do not leave the apprentice group before you were moved into the main group and make sure you have an open group slot

-During the shadowing the TAO of Volunteers as well as the Terms of Service (and Community Standards) have to be abidden by both - the Apprentice Buddy and the Apprentice Mentor. Severe violations of those will result in a direct termination of the shadowing experience as well as a refusal of issueing the voucher, further action could be taken.

-The shadowing experience will begin on the Volunteers OI, an exact copy of the current orientation islands. Here we will be having a look at the questions that can occur by new residents and take a little walk to get yourself used to the Orientation Islands and the parts of it where problems use to occur. To make this a bit easier, I will be taking the role of a newborn resident, and you will have to help me the best you can, eventually provide helpful notecards that you have collected already, or just give me a warm welcome. Of course, if there are any questions occuring, do not hesitate to ask... I might look newborn but I am still your Apprentice Buddy!
