I'm also using the color gradient and the Elevation shaders in tandem, have to work out how the formula shader is working with the Elevation shader - That's very important to have the gradent moving from center of the object to the end of its bounding box, to have an accurate sculptie.

I have all the tools for Carrara 6 - if you don't, check out their download pages. They're all available now. --[[User:Hypatia Callisto|Hypatia Callisto]] 07:13, 20 October 2007 (PDT)

Hypatia, I don't have Baker (yet; tools are lagging behind the C6 upgrade). But for the three-color shader, how about using the Formula shader in the color slot? Type this in, and it looks like it does the same thing the paid-for shader does.

red = sin(y/2);
green = sin(x/2);
blue = sin(z/2);

You may need to reverse x and y, depending on which axis is what in the original. --Territan Enigma 02:33, 27 September 2007 (PDT)

Hi Territan - I'll give it a whirl and see how it goes. Thanks!
