Your doing well, keep up the good work. All those dead-end links will encourage other people to add more content. -- Strife Onizuka 15:49, 25 February 2008 (PST)

The wiki is the wiki, and if you are motivated and nobody is interesting in standing in they way, then you can do what you want. If you are doings something wrong people will tell you. Find other people who are interested in working on this project and LL will be overjoyed. With the LSL Portal it was like "hey look, an official wiki, lets put stuff on it" ... so we did. There are times for asking permission and times for asking forgiveness. If you produce quality content you won't need to ask for either. Always respect the opinions of others and try to strike compromises. Incorporate the work of others into your own, it will help balance and moderate your message. *yawns* well I think I'm going to head to bed. -- Strife Onizuka 17:28, 25 February 2008 (PST)

Ignore the listing on the Editing Guidelines, it hasn't been updated. For a full listing of portals... Category:Portals. Your ToC is a good start. If you are really worried about it, why not ask LL at one of these Linden's office hours: Amber Linden, Blue Linden, George Linden, Jon Linden, Lexie Linden, Robin Linden, Torley Linden. I would start with going to Torley's office hour, then Robin's, then Blue's and then Jon's. Get feedback and alter the order as you see fit. -- Strife Onizuka 05:01, 26 February 2008 (PST)
Your goal is to improve the user experience. LL would be stupid to squash it. The natures of wikis are to be redefined. Guidelines are written to handle the current situation, rarely are they farsighted enough to cope with the future without being changed. The QA Portal could be seen as a derivative of the OS Portal; your help portal could be seen as a derivative of the Volunteer Portal. -- Strife Onizuka 05:10, 26 February 2008 (PST)
