re Classes Offered By Mentors

It seems you "broke" the article by not archiving October's classes, and not using the template structure used throughout september and october.

When make new none-englishs pages.

If you make new some languages page, please also write this sentence ,The translater is not limited, and link Project:Languages for easy to translate :) Asuka Neely 04:39, 25 February 2008 (PST)

Hi! I want to add some. Asuka want to say that when someone make new "Waiting for translation" blank page, Maybe we better leave not just only "This page is waiting for translation." but more information. For exsample, someone who doesn't know about the translation project happen to found these waiting pages, maybe he/she couldn't findout what this page is for. So we better leave back-ward link on these waiting pages at least. Don't you think it's not a bad idea? -- Nock Forager 02:18, 26 February 2008 (PST)

SL Apprentice Mentors out of date

Heya Lexie!
I marked the SL Apprentice Mentors article as out of date since it doesn't include shadowing requirements and still got info about some deadline in December 2007. Maybe you can forward it to the right VTeam Linden and add it to the translation project again after it's updated?

JIRA & Visibility Request

Hi Lexie!
I wanted to come up with two requests which are

  1. In case you consider it useful, could you please vote on (and maybe advertise) this JIRA: WEB-590? It would allow to embed external RSS feeds on Wiki pages (e.g.: Display recent posts from the VTeam Blog at the Volunteer Portal). I think this would increase the chance that Wiki visitors stumble upon the latest blog posts and improve the flow of informations. The needed Mediawiki plugin is linked to the JIRA, so in case someone assigns to it, it would only take about 10 minutes to implement.
  2. While the VTeam is - like it's name indicates - a Team, every VTeam Linden seems to have special fields of responsibility. So you seem to be VTeams Wiki Linden with an eye on the Mentor Linguist Scribe Translation Project. So I think Linguist related problems would be your special field as well. George seems to be responsible for the reservations box at SLVEC and for all Apprentice Buddy related issues. Mia seems to be the the Buddy Center-, Meeting Transcripts-, Linden Bear-Specialist. Amber is coordinator and Blue leader. So maybe, you could add some info about responsibility fields on your userpages, Category:VTeam and VTeam Blog - Who is VTeam?. This could help to direct requests directly to the proper channels and people are able to attend the Office Hour of the right VTeamer for their specific issue/request.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this =)

I-World Courtesy Notices

Hm... *scrolls up and down* Ok, it looks like I would spam your discussion page here ^^ But: The Survey link for the I-World Courtesy Notices at SL Mentor Special Surveys seems to be broken. Just wanted to let you know =)

Second Life Mentors - Wiki Page

I searched Wiki for Mentors and Second Life Mentors, Mentor and Second Life Mentors... none of which returned a page >.< You should create these pages to redirect to a main page about Second Life Mentors explaining who they are, what they do, how to become one etc. instead of having no pages like that, when people search they're mostly not getting a result. : ) Meghan Dench 12:47, 2 August 2008 (PDT)
