[2015/04/23 15:07] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): do you have a jira?
[2015/04/23 15:07] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Sorry, No.
[2015/04/23 15:07] arton Rotaru: on the production grid?
[2015/04/23 15:07] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Midnight SLT?
[2015/04/23 15:07] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): no betagrid
[2015/04/23 15:07] arton Rotaru: ah ok
[2015/04/23 15:07] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): It is happen at betagrid.
[2015/04/23 15:08] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): at Morris.
[2015/04/23 15:08] nolink (whirly.fizzle): What happens at midnight when you try to upload mesh?
[2015/04/23 15:09] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Midnight is 4pm at Japan. It is working time.
[2015/04/23 15:09] Lucia Nightfire: when isn't working time in Japan, heh
[2015/04/23 15:09] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Upload error was shown.
[2015/04/23 15:09] Lucia Nightfire: and back
[2015/04/23 15:09] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Now it is early morning in Japana.
[2015/04/23 15:09] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): *Japan
[2015/04/23 15:10] Lucia Nightfire: Yuzu, do you snicker everytime you see the word "rez"?
[2015/04/23 15:10] Lucia Nightfire: taht will probably go over everyone's heads
[2015/04/23 15:11] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): how so
[2015/04/23 15:11] Lucia Nightfire: nvm I shouldn't have said it
[2015/04/23 15:11] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Upload Error Dialog shows "failled to upload: Internal Server Error NetworkError".
[2015/04/23 15:11] arton Rotaru: yeah I've seen that occasionally on the beta grid as well
[2015/04/23 15:11] arton Rotaru: but never notice the time of day it happens
[2015/04/23 15:12] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): do you guys attempt to do this on morris oftentimes?
[2015/04/23 15:13] Rex Cronon: i guess at that time all the lindens are asleep in san francisco?
[2015/04/23 15:13] arton Rotaru: I have it on several regions, like the Mesh sandboxes
[2015/04/23 15:13] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): They saw it at midnight. Then they take rest for the about 1 hour. And thay are back here. And they can upload mesh.
[2015/04/23 15:13] arton Rotaru: once I started sim hopping to see if it's just a single host or something
[2015/04/23 15:15] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Rex, I guess. I think mesh upload service does something at midnight.
[2015/04/23 15:16] Lucia Nightfire: whats the jira?
[2015/04/23 15:16] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): It is hard to write jira for Japanese..
[2015/04/23 15:16] Lucia Nightfire: why? just be literal as possible
[2015/04/23 15:17] Rex Cronon: maybe the lindes have a script that at midnight tests some parts of the services and mesh upload becomes temporarly unavailable?
[2015/04/23 15:17] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): I need to confirm that
[2015/04/23 15:17] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): cron job or something
[2015/04/23 15:17] Lucia Nightfire: all services have maintenance periods
[2015/04/23 15:17] Lucia Nightfire: like http is at 03:25 or something
[2015/04/23 15:17] arton Rotaru: maybe the password inventory update thingy
[2015/04/23 15:17] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Rex, I just think about it! I will ask them to write jira.
[2015/04/23 15:18] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): cron job! yes!
[2015/04/23 15:18] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): make sure to include the region where you tried to upload
[2015/04/23 15:18] Lucia Nightfire: and a screen shot of teh error message
[2015/04/23 15:18] Lucia Nightfire: and maybe viewer logs?
[2015/04/23 15:19] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): screenshot, region name, time stamp, agent who tried to upload
[2015/04/23 15:19] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): OK I will ask them to upload the screen shot of that error message at jira. If they can't write jira, I will ask them to send it to me.
[2015/04/23 15:21] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): OK Caleb. I know the region name is Morris.
[2015/04/23 15:21] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): cool thanks
[2015/04/23 15:22] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): I will ask about your question to them.
[2015/04/23 15:22] Rex Cronon: this sim?
[2015/04/23 15:22] Yuzuru (yuzuru.jewell): Rex, Sure.
[2015/04/23 15:23] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): alright, shineys are real. a new llGetObjectDetails() paramenter is OBJECT_LAST_OWNER_ID
[2015/04/23 15:23] Lucia Nightfire: where is that active on aditi?
[2015/04/23 15:23] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Happy Lucia hehehe
[2015/04/23 15:23] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): acme d where i ran into you
[2015/04/23 15:24] Lucia Nightfire: it isn't atm, heh
[2015/04/23 15:24] Lucia Nightfire: sure you don't mean ACME C?
[2015/04/23 15:24] Inara Breen: /me watches Lucia cartwhell across the dance floor and back...
[2015/04/23 15:24] Lucia Nightfire: I'm not in cartwheel mode yet, heh
[2015/04/23 15:24] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): Acme C has it too
[2015/04/23 15:24] Lucia Nightfire: maybe if this was implemented I would be:
[2015/04/23 15:25] arton Rotaru: what is a useful scenario for last owner?
[2015/04/23 15:25] Lucia Nightfire: I just came from ACME D and it doesn't even have llGOD() 24
[2015/04/23 15:25] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): you mean, that it turns blue for the parameter?
[2015/04/23 15:25] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Group deeded stuff
[2015/04/23 15:25] Lucia Nightfire: blue?
[2015/04/23 15:25] arton Rotaru: ah ok
[2015/04/23 15:26] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): blue for the parameters
[2015/04/23 15:26] Lucia Nightfire: I have a llGOD() flag checker and it only went up to 23 for available params
[2015/04/23 15:26] Lucia Nightfire: in that region
[2015/04/23 15:26] Lucia Nightfire: the flags for body shape and hover height aren't even available here, heh
[2015/04/23 15:26] Lucia Nightfire: [15:26:52] llGetObjectDetails() flag checker: data for flag #23: 0
[2015/04/23 15:27] arton Rotaru: I tried those a week or 2 ago an acme, and they were there
[2015/04/23 15:27] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): it does return something though
[2015/04/23 15:27] Lucia Nightfire: they were yes
[2015/04/23 15:27] arton Rotaru: on Acme*
[2015/04/23 15:27] Lucia Nightfire: but not now
[2015/04/23 15:27] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): huh
[2015/04/23 15:28] Lucia Nightfire: ok, let me hop over as it may be intermittent
[2015/04/23 15:28] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): i think whirly, you mentioned in a jira about the highlight not showing a little tool tip right?
[2015/04/23 15:28] Lucia Nightfire: ok, now they're returning data, heh
[2015/04/23 15:28] Lucia Nightfire: did that sim just reset?
[2015/04/23 15:29] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): it's been running for almost a day
[2015/04/23 15:30] Lucia Nightfire: did someone turn that constant "on"? heh
[2015/04/23 15:30] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Yes. That was fixed the next day Caleb. I couldnt repro it.
[2015/04/23 15:30] nolink (whirly.fizzle): So maybe it was a region issue and I picked a borked RCr region hehe
[2015/04/23 15:30] Lucia Nightfire: I swear I checked it when I was last there and I didn't get anything, lol
[2015/04/23 15:30] Lucia Nightfire: [14:28:18] llGetObjectDetails() flag checker: data for flag #22: 0
[2015/04/23 15:30] Lucia Nightfire: see
[2015/04/23 15:31] Rex Cronon: i guess lindens computers have a special socket where they stick their finger in and it turns on features;)
[2015/04/23 15:31] Lucia Nightfire: Linens be turning stuff on and off, lol
[2015/04/23 15:32] nolink (whirly.fizzle): If you're using a viewer where the LSL stuff comes from the server then it can get a bit wonked sometimes if you hop between regions with different lsl files.
[2015/04/23 15:32] Lucia Nightfire: this is llGOD(), not the lsl function table
[2015/04/23 15:32] nolink (whirly.fizzle): That only affects the highlighting/tooltips in the script though
[2015/04/23 15:33] Lucia Nightfire: or are we on two different subjects atm, heh
[2015/04/23 15:34] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): shiney #2
[2015/04/23 15:34] arton Rotaru: lol
[2015/04/23 15:35] Lucia Nightfire: but wait, theres more
[2015/04/23 15:35] nolink (whirly.fizzle): MOAR? o.O
[2015/04/23 15:35] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): dial now and you get shiney shammy for FREEEEE
[2015/04/23 15:35] arton Rotaru: lol
[2015/04/23 15:35] Lucia Nightfire: I'm gonna punt you
[2015/04/23 15:36] Lucia Nightfire: was there more or what? heh
[2015/04/23 15:36] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): the list of options for llGetEnv()
[2015/04/23 15:36] Lucia Nightfire: don't joke about shineys
[2015/04/23 15:36] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): "simulator_hostname" will return "" (Same as llGetSimulatorHostname(), but without the 10 second delay)
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: ok, now I can do a half cartwheel
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: someone give me the anim
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: also, where is that active at on aditi
[2015/04/23 15:37] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): i wanna see you cart wheel and freeze
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: same region?
[2015/04/23 15:37] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): yeah
[2015/04/23 15:37] Inara Breen: /me pictures Lucia standing on her head, half cartwheel completed....
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: also
[2015/04/23 15:37] nolink (whirly.fizzle): What are the last two?
[2015/04/23 15:37] Lucia Nightfire: I notice one param missing
[2015/04/23 15:38] Lucia Nightfire: region_stop_time
[2015/04/23 15:38] Lucia Nightfire: is that still being looked into?
[2015/04/23 15:38] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): i think simon didn't include that
[2015/04/23 15:39] Lucia Nightfire: you asking him if thats being looked into? heh
[2015/04/23 15:39] Lucia Nightfire: why doesn't he come to these meetings anymore, lol
[2015/04/23 15:40] Lucia Nightfire: you've been doing these solo for over a month now I think
[2015/04/23 15:40] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): he is busy with viewer stuff as well
[2015/04/23 15:40] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): oh yeah
[2015/04/23 15:40] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): time flies
[2015/04/23 15:41] Lucia Nightfire: that are those last two llGetEnv() params?
[2015/04/23 15:44] nolink (whirly.fizzle): "region_product_sku" - product number (as string) - is that the server build number?
[2015/04/23 15:44] arton Rotaru: how many regions per core perhaps
[2015/04/23 15:44] Lucia Nightfire: Caleb in the headlights
[2015/04/23 15:44] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): sorry
[2015/04/23 15:44] Lucia Nightfire: lol
[2015/04/23 15:45] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): it's the id for the different products like
[2015/04/23 15:45] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): estate vs mainland
[2015/04/23 15:45] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): SKU
[2015/04/23 15:45] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): ACME C for example is 024
[2015/04/23 15:45] nolink (whirly.fizzle): I have no idea what SKU is
[2015/04/23 15:46] arton Rotaru: Stock keepin unit
[2015/04/23 15:46] Lucia Nightfire: like Skill Gaming has its own SKU?
[2015/04/23 15:46] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): cpu ration just means
[2015/04/23 15:46] Lucia Nightfire: or is that another param
[2015/04/23 15:46] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): regions per cpu
[2015/04/23 15:47] Rex Cronon: special key user?
[2015/04/23 15:47] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): yeah skill gaming would have its own SKU
[2015/04/23 15:47] Lucia Nightfire: does cpu ratio change when a region goes down?
[2015/04/23 15:48] nolink (whirly.fizzle): So region_cpu_ratio is 1 for full region and 4 for homesteads?
[2015/04/23 15:48] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): yeah
[2015/04/23 15:49] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): to whirly's question
[2015/04/23 15:49] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Openspace regions are still 4?
[2015/04/23 15:49] Lucia Nightfire: dumb question, but, how many cpus to a host? does that depend on class?
[2015/04/23 15:50] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Are there even different classes now?
[2015/04/23 15:50] Lucia Nightfire: allegedly there still are
[2015/04/23 15:50] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): at least on aditi
[2015/04/23 15:50] Lucia Nightfire: 5,7,8
[2015/04/23 15:50] Lucia Nightfire: afaik
[2015/04/23 15:50] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): there are these
[2015/04/23 15:51] Lucia Nightfire: forgot where I last read it
[2015/04/23 15:51] Lucia Nightfire: theres a wiki page though
[2015/04/23 15:51] nolink (whirly.fizzle): I know you used to be able to tell the class from the sim number but I don't think that applies now
[2015/04/23 15:52] arton Rotaru: I smell drama along with this^^
[2015/04/23 15:52] Lucia Nightfire: wha
[2015/04/23 15:52] arton Rotaru: why does my region shares a cpu with 3 others?
[2015/04/23 15:53] Lucia Nightfire: because stuff is stacked in soem form or another
[2015/04/23 15:53] Rex Cronon: u r not "special" ?
[2015/04/23 15:53] arton Rotaru: lol
[2015/04/23 15:53] Rex Cronon: that is a nice way to start a fight. lol
[2015/04/23 15:53] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): lol
[2015/04/23 15:53] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): we are all winners
[2015/04/23 15:53] Lucia Nightfire: we are all snowflakes
[2015/04/23 15:54] Rex Cronon: everybody gets one cpu:)
[2015/04/23 15:54] Lucia Nightfire: and W10
[2015/04/23 15:54] arton Rotaru: buy a fuulsim
[2015/04/23 15:54] arton Rotaru: full even
[2015/04/23 15:54] Lucia Nightfire: except Rex, he gets XP SP3
[2015/04/23 15:54] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): lol
[2015/04/23 15:54] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Oh I found my ancient old NC about server class. Created in 2010 and I have no idea if the info was bollocks even back then - it says.... "If you look at Help:About Second Life, you will find a line that tells you the host on which your region is running. That will say something like If the number after “sim” is less than 2133, the region you are in is a class 4 region..."
[2015/04/23 15:54] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): SP stands for special
[2015/04/23 15:55] Rex Cronon: uppy linux:)
[2015/04/23 15:55] Rex Cronon: i switch to puppy linux*
[2015/04/23 15:55] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): interesting whirly
[2015/04/23 15:55] nolink (whirly.fizzle): Outdated lol
[2015/04/23 15:55] Lucia Nightfire: so those shineys are going out next week, ya?
[2015/04/23 15:56] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): tryin' to cartwheel as fast as we can
[2015/04/23 15:56] Lucia Nightfire: well it gives me something to work with
[2015/04/23 15:56] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): enjoy!
[2015/04/23 15:57] Lucia Nightfire: thanks, heh
[2015/04/23 15:57] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): don't hesitate to ping me
[2015/04/23 15:57] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): with that, the hour went by pretty quickly
[2015/04/23 15:57] arton Rotaru: indeed
[2015/04/23 15:57] nolink (whirly.fizzle): lol it did
[2015/04/23 15:57] Lucia Nightfire: fun things make time fly
[2015/04/23 15:57] Caleb the Cable Guy (caleb.linden): take care all
[2015/04/23 15:57] Lucia Nightfire: later
