Agenda Transcript of Bridie Linden's office hours:

[15:04] Aric Linden: hello
[15:04] Aric Linden: nice to see everyone
[15:04] Squirrel Wood: Hellu ^^
[15:04] Bridie Linden: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
[15:04] Kandi Carnell: Greetings to one and all
[15:05] Aric Linden: Big list, let's start, shall we?
[15:05] Saijanai Kuhn: clock show
[15:05] Saijanai Kuhn: clcok unmerge
[15:05] Saijanai Kuhn: clock unmerge
[15:06] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-108
[15:06] Saijanai Kuhn: clock hide
[15:06] Aric Linden: llUnsit command will work for anyone on any parcel if the avatar being unsat is sitting on the LAND (does not do this if they are on a Prim)
[15:06] Soft Linden: Hee - yeah, that'd be a problem. Would let griefers make an unsitter they use before pushing.
[15:07] Aric Linden: yep
[15:07] Soft Linden: Would import that.
[15:07] Aric Linden: This seems worth importing to me as well
[15:07] Bridie Linden: I'll import it then!
[15:07] Squirrel Wood: definitely begs to be fixed :)
[15:07] Angel Fluffy: :)
[15:07] Aric Linden: Thanks Bridie Linden
[15:08] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-109
[15:08] Aric Linden: There is no way to safely serialize a list, a new function is needed.
[15:08] Daedalus Young: then it's a Feature Request :P
[15:09] Soft Linden: Yes, it's not a bug.
[15:09] Ciaran Laval: It's linked to another jira
[15:09] Ciaran Laval: Well he references one but it's not a bug
[15:09] Bridie Linden: Move to a feature request and import?
[15:09] Soft Linden: The list to comma separated string funciton it mentions is meant to make things human-readable, not machine-readable.
[15:10] Soft Linden: Would say it's a good idea, but I'd wait on more votes before taking it in.
[15:10] Rob Linden: what soft said
[15:10] Aric Linden: ok
[15:10] Aric Linden: let's move along then
[15:10] Bridie Linden nods
[15:10] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-433
[15:11] Squirrel Wood: outdated?
[15:11] Aric Linden: Vivox-gw.exe crashes in Voice Beta after 5-10 minutes; voice chat does not work at all
[15:11] Soft Linden: Ya, would close it unless someone says they're seeing it today.
[15:11] Ciaran Laval: It's surely fixed by now
[15:11] Bridie Linden: I'll resolve as fixed.
[15:11] Aric Linden: No. I think it should be closed
[15:11] Aric Linden: we
[15:12] Aric Linden: we're not seeing this
[15:12] Rob Linden: Aric: we should always resolve, not close
[15:12] Aric Linden: sorry
[15:12] Aric Linden: we should resolve
[15:12] Soft Linden: That's only got relatively recent activity because someone added a comment about an unrelated issue.
[15:12] Rob Linden is feeling pedantic
[15:12] Aric Linden: /grins at rob
[15:12] Aric Linden: Apparently so
[15:12] Sculpt TorusKnot Ollj: Hello, Avatar!
[15:13] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-437
[15:13] Aric Linden: um, i don't quite follow this one
[15:14] Aric Linden: Object description is modified just by opening the object editor dialog
[15:14] Squirrel Wood: hmm.. I'd say this is by design as object descriptions are not intended as data storage ?
[15:14] Ciaran Laval: Torely's closed it again by the look of it
[15:14] Soft Linden: So the problem on this one is that llSetObjectDesc lets you set a longer string thant he dialog allows. Really the problem is the dialog and the function should have the same string length limitation.
[15:14] Ciaran Laval: ignore me
[15:14] Daedalus Young: yes, agreed, Soft
[15:14] Aric Linden: sorry. i didn't read it thoroughly
[15:14] Saijanai Kuhn an awful lot of people rely on this feature though
[15:15] Rob Linden: lslwiki.org is not our wiki
[15:15] Aric Linden: I agree with you Soft
[15:15] Soft Linden: Ya. Ideally the dialog would allow more characters to match, rather than shortening what's allowed in LSL.
[15:16] Aric Linden: Rob, llSetObjectDesc is our function, yes?
[15:16] Bridie Linden: Is this a Major issue?
[15:16] Squirrel Wood: if everyone used this method to store data wouldn't this create a huge overhead when rezzing prims ?
[15:16] Saijanai Kuhn: if they used it for xkilobytes of storage, yes
[15:16] Soft Linden: Not major, naw.
[15:16] Rob Linden: Aric, yeah, I was just looking at the comments which seem to be confused on the subject
[15:17] Aric Linden: It appears to me that this is worth an internal dialog, just to get our story straight
[15:17] Squirrel Wood: I mean, if you have 100 prims each with 8k comment data that's like... 800k
[15:17] Rob Linden: Aric: sounds reasonable.
[15:17] Saijanai Kuhn: all strings should handle 256 UTF-8 chars, at least. That's 1KB
[15:17] Bridie Linden: I'll import and change priority to Normal...
[15:17] Aric Linden: Squirrel, i think you may want to add that comment as a useful observation to the dialog
[15:17] Aric Linden: Thanks bridie
[15:17] Saijanai Kuhn: should be enough for an rational use
[15:17] Aric Linden: Squirrel, I think you raise good points
[15:18] Aric Linden: moving along https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-442
[15:18] Aric Linden: No warning when inviting a new owner
[15:18] Daedalus Young: basically a Feature Request for confirmation dialog, yes?
[15:19] Aric Linden: hmmm
[15:19] Ciaran Laval: Yes, you get one if you give a person assign role rights
[15:19] Aric Linden: thin line here
[15:19] Soft Linden: Ya, that's bad. You could lose all your group land or add someone to the group till if you pick the wrong role.
[15:19] Aric Linden: I think it might be a bug
[15:19] Aric Linden: it's a case that was overlooked in the permissions for groups, i think
[15:19] Bridie Linden: hmmm
[15:19] Aric Linden: as opposed to new functionality being requested. that's just my .02 tho
[15:20] Aric Linden: either way, i think it needs to be imported myself
[15:20] Soft Linden: Yeah, would agree for sure!
[15:20] Daedalus Young: hm yes
[15:20] Aric Linden: ok bridie let's take it as a bug
[15:20] Bridie Linden imports!
[15:20] Soft Linden: Hey, blue :)
[15:21] Aric Linden: nothing better than passing along perms probs
[15:21] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-443
[15:21] Squirrel Wood: 15k prims times 8k comment... 114 mbyte of comment...
[15:21] Aric Linden: Share with group toggle grays out when checked on deeded objects
[15:22] Ciaran Laval: Anyone tried this? I bought the object back earlier because of this but someone there says unclicking share with group does work
[15:23] Soft Linden: A Linden who knows the permission system should probably look at this; not even sure if objects are supposed to be group-shared and group-owned simultaneously.
[15:23] Aric Linden: that's exactly what I was thinking, Soft
[15:24] Soft Linden: Might be a won't fix or very low priority, but does look like a bug.
[15:24] Aric Linden: I can't tell if this is a feature or a bug
[15:24] Ciaran Laval: Don't you have to share it to deed it?
[15:24] Aric Linden: assign it to me for repro, please bridie
[15:24] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-118
[15:25] Aric Linden: Invitations to existing group members get sent, but have no effect
[15:25] Aric Linden: seems as though permissions got a work out last week
[15:25] Bridie Linden: Done, Aric.
[15:25] Aric Linden: Thanks!
[15:26] Aric Linden: 118 seems like a bug to me
[15:26] Ciaran Laval: You don't send a new invitation as far as I'm aware, I think it's the issue where group changes don't update right away
[15:26] Bridie Linden nods
[15:26] Aric Linden: I wonder if the invitee has to respond to the invitation for the change to take place
[15:26] Aric Linden: anyone know?
[15:26] Soft Linden: This one actually has some effect; you can add someone to another role this way. But it's pointless to have the dialog, it should just automatically make the appropriate role additions. Not much reason to decline a new role for a group you're already in.
[15:27] Daedalus Young: but then I think the invitee never gets the invite, because they're already member
[15:27] Sculpt TorusKnot Ollj: Hello, Avatar!
[15:27] Ciaran Laval: I've never sent an invite again when I've changed a person's role.
[15:27] Squirrel Wood: the invitee should at least get some form of confirmation too.. like "You have been assigned to a different role (role here, another role here)"
[15:28] Aric Linden: hmm
[15:28] Aric Linden: this seems like a job for RX
[15:28] Soft Linden: If it only adds roles, not removes, is a notification still needed?
[15:28] Aric Linden: shrugs
[15:28] Daedalus Young: how else would you know you've been promoted?
[15:28] Soft Linden: Ya, RX sounds like a good idea.
[15:28] Squirrel Wood: the lucky player may not know about it ?
[15:28] Ciaran Laval: The group owner should tell you
[15:28] Sculpt TorusKnot Ollj: Hello, Avatar!
[15:28] Aric Linden: Let's make RX sort it all out
[15:28] Saijanai Kuhn: blob private
[15:28] Ciaran Laval: However as a feature request it might be a good thing for group security
[15:28] Daedalus Young: yes, but some people just don't communicate enough like that
[15:29] Bridie Linden: But it's a bug if your role didn't actually change, right?
[15:29] Aric Linden: Well, it is if the intent is to allow for roles to update via that manner
[15:29] Bridie Linden: Ah...
[15:29] Aric Linden: I can't tell if that's the intent or if the implied functionality is a UI by-product of some sort
[15:29] Soft Linden: I'll add the last couple dozen lines to a comment.
[15:29] Daedalus Young: otherwise you shouldn't be able to re-invitye anyway
[15:29] Bridie Linden: I'll import.
[15:30] Ciaran Laval: Would it be a bug not to receive an invite for a group you're already in or would thta be working as intended?
[15:30] Aric Linden runs shrieking from permissions flow
[15:30] Squirrel Wood: Mayhaps the user does not want to be added to new groups?
[15:30] Daedalus Young: Ciaran, again I'd say, depends if it's meant to work like this
[15:31] Squirrel Wood: shouldn't they have an option to deny that in such a case?
[15:31] Aric Linden: I think you're right Daedalus and Ciaran, but I can't tell if that's intended or implied
[15:31] Ciaran Laval: That's what I'm trying to ask Daedalus ;)
[15:31] Aric Linden: Let's let the RX team figure it out
[15:31] Bridie Linden will do
[15:31] Aric Linden: and move on to what appears to be an approximate reprise of the same issue https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-119
[15:31] Daedalus Young: either no more re-invite, or role change allowed with everything needed for it, simply said, imo
[15:31] Ciaran Laval: Ah now this one is a bit of a pain
[15:32] Squirrel Wood: heh. this one's in 118 to. (related bugs)
[15:32] Aric Linden: Why so, Ciaran?
[15:32] Ciaran Laval: I've ended up with two of the same role names because I thought something hadn't worked due to this
[15:32] Aric Linden: never mind
[15:32] Aric Linden: i get it
[15:32] Aric Linden: This would appear to me to be a bug
[15:32] Soft Linden: So the problem is that the change isn't passed along immediately, only when changing roles or relogging?
[15:32] Ciaran Laval: It's a general group issue thing, relogging worked for me last time I had it, it's intermittent
[15:33] Aric Linden: I suspect it's an update problem as opposed to a bug
[15:33] Ciaran Laval: It's not just changing roles, it's creating new role titles too, seems linked to me
[15:33] Aric Linden: Do new titles update when logging back?
[15:33] Ciaran Laval: It did last time for me Aric.
[15:33] Aric Linden: hmm. Bridie, pass this one over to me and let's have QA massage it some
[15:34] Bridie Linden: Good thinking.
[15:34] Aric Linden: Ciaran, i suspected as much. I think it's update lag, not a bug
[15:34] Aric Linden: per se
[15:34] Soft Linden: It might be as simple as refreshing the group info after a role change. The group info is cached for that dialog.
[15:34] Aric Linden nods at Soft
[15:34] Ciaran Laval: Agreed Aric as it eventually works, hence why I ended up with two roles of the same name
[15:34] Aric Linden: Ciaran, Got it. it all makes sense
[15:34] Aric Linden: let's see if QA can pin it down concretely before passing it over to devs
[15:35] Aric Linden: per popular demand... ;-)
[15:35] Aric Linden: is next
[15:35] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-120
[15:35] Aric Linden: Gigs was beating on perms this week
[15:35] Aric Linden: /applauds Gigs efforts
[15:35] Seg Baphomet: I see people!
[15:36] Ciaran Laval: Working as intended isn't it?
[15:36] Soft Linden: This one, I'd sure thing was by design, yeah.
[15:36] Seg Baphomet: What am I walking in on?
[15:36] Squirrel Wood: yups. always been that way
[15:36] Soft Linden: It's possible the ability description should explicitly mention returning though.
[15:36] Aric Linden: Hi Seg, we're triageing bugs
[15:36] Daedalus Young: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Bug_triage/Monday_Agenda
[15:37] Aric Linden: Or it's possible that the modification requested here is a feature request
[15:37] Aric Linden: not a bug
[15:37] Squirrel Wood: I'd see it as feature request
[15:37] Daedalus Young: yes, an extra level: "Can Modify" and "Can have even more control"
[15:37] Aric Linden: Soft?
[15:37] Daedalus Young: where Can Modify is only that: modify
[15:38] Aric Linden: what do you think?
[15:38] Soft Linden: Not sure another level's needed here, but I'd make the decsription more explicit.
[15:38] Aric Linden: Hi wyn
[15:38] Wyn Galbraith is late. "Sorry. Lost track of time, darn RL anyway."
[15:38] Soft Linden: I'd not call it a bug, but a suggestion, and make the suggestion clarifying the text. :)
[15:38] Bridie Linden: Move to feature request or resolve 'won't finish'?
[15:38] Sculpt TorusKnot Ollj: Hello, Avatar!
[15:38] Aric Linden: I think we need more info. Clarification of the issue first
[15:39] Aric Linden: then possibly import as a feature request?
[15:39] Sculpt TorusKnot Ollj: Hello, Avatar!
[15:39] Seg Baphomet: What bug are we on?
[15:39] Daedalus Young: SVC-120
[15:40] Soft Linden: Dunno. The issue looks pretty clear to me: Someone grants modify, and they don't realize they're letting people return things too. Can do needs more info and ask if clarifying the text would satisfy the reporter and voters.
[15:40] Aric Linden: ok.
[15:40] Aric Linden: that makes sense to me
[15:40] Bridie Linden: thx Soft
[15:40] Soft Linden thumbsup!
[15:40] Aric Linden: moving along https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-122
[15:40] Aric Linden: Simulators stay online even when the CAPS server is down
[15:41] Soft Linden: Actually from what he describes it sounds more like a congested data server. Could ask Icehouse just to be sure though.
[15:41] Daedalus Young: I know nothing of this
[15:41] Squirrel Wood: hmmm.... if a teleport takes waaaay long and you abort it... you end up unable to TP anywhere
[15:42] Aric Linden: I'm wondering if KillDataserver will help with this?
[15:42] Daedalus Young: Squirrel, you often end up unable to do anything at all except quit
[15:42] Dale Glass: yep, aborting teleports seems not to work properly
[15:42] Ciaran Laval: Yes I've had that Squirrel
[15:42] Daedalus Young: but that's another issue
[15:42] Ciaran Laval: Can't move either when that happens
[15:42] Squirrel Wood: teleport to a sim that doesn't allow you in and it will take ages. abort and bam.
[15:42] Soft Linden: It should if it's data server. It's worth asking if we do handle a dead backbone though, because some of the services named -are- headed over to backbone (killdataserver)
[15:42] Daedalus Young: I've also had the teleport not cancelled at all
[15:42] Aric Linden nods
[15:43] Aric Linden: I'm sure glad you're here, Soft
[15:43] Soft Linden: I'll add a comment to that effect if you want to import and just pass it on?
[15:43] Aric Linden: Yes please
[15:43] Aric Linden: and I think we can assign it directly to icehouse asking for more info
[15:43] Aric Linden: Bridie, maybe just direct it at Periapse
[15:43] Bridie Linden: will do
[15:44] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-123 is next
[15:44] Bridie Linden: after Soft comments
[15:44] Ciaran Laval: Is Alexa still here?
[15:44] Aric Linden nods at bridie and says thanks
[15:44] Aric Linden: I don't think so
[15:44] Soft Linden: Commented
[15:44] Aric Linden: I believe I saw that she'd logged off
[15:44] Ciaran Laval: Ah shame she might have had more info
[15:45] Saijanai Kuhn: btw, it happens to me on a Mac on a regular basis. Sometimes I have to try to paste 2-3 times before it takes
[15:45] Squirrel Wood: 123 is resolved
[15:45] Soft Linden: Whoo hoo!
[15:45] Aric Linden grins
[15:45] Daedalus Young: but couldn't that be because the reporter found a workaround?
[15:45] cj38 Klaar: In which client version is it resolved please?
[15:45] Aric Linden: something related to this got a lot of internal discussion
[15:46] Daedalus Young: I'd like to know what that workaround is then :P
[15:46] Aric Linden: it's a really really tough thing for us to fix
[15:46] Aric Linden: I think it's not resolved, but rather worked around
[15:46] Saijanai Kuhn: do it a lot of times with mouse clicks in various places, to get the focus set right is the fix I found
[15:46] Soft Linden: It's still broken somewhat; I can paste to some apps but not others.
[15:46] Aric Linden: perhaps we should ask for the workaround to be documented
[15:46] Soft Linden: I can't copy from SL into my IRC client for example, though I can copy from SL into a sticky, then copy from the sticky to IRC.
[15:47] Squirrel Wood: there is a size limit to notecards..
[15:47] Saijanai Kuhn: sometimes I can paste to one app copy, and paste to another
[15:47] Daedalus Young: if it's only fixed by a workaround, it's still an open bug imo
[15:47] Aric Linden: there are line return/feed issues too
[15:47] Soft Linden: Yeah. I'm wondering if SL only supports a subset of the regular clipboard formats or something.
[15:47] Soft Linden: Like maybe it only does utf-8, no plain ascii. Worth a peek.
[15:47] Aric Linden: I don't know that anyone has ever consciously coded specifics for clipboards
[15:48] Aric Linden: hmmm
[15:48] Squirrel Wood: wasn't it a mac user who reported it ?
[15:48] Saijanai Kuhn: and that is terribly platform specific
[15:48] Aric Linden: you might want to take a look at the extant thread on this
[15:48] Daedalus Young: I think so too, Soft
[15:48] Aric Linden: CG Linden logged this as an issue (or something very similiar
[15:48] Daedalus Young: after all, you obviosly can't paste if you have an image in your clipboard
[15:48] Aric Linden: /similar
[15:48] Seg Baphomet: I'm having problems with SL cut and paste and Synergy.
[15:48] Aric Linden: ok
[15:48] Wyn Galbraith: Works on my machine.
[15:48] Saijanai Kuhn: well, you can, if you're on a mac, heading to the right app.
[15:48] Seg Baphomet: (on Linux)
[15:48] Daedalus Young: so the same can be true for some decoded text formats
[15:49] Aric Linden: let's import it and see if we can get some informed data around what is and isn't and should and shouldn't be supported
[15:49] Saijanai Kuhn: my recolection is that standards say you should paste the name of the image if it only handles text
[15:49] Bridie Linden nods
[15:49] Aric Linden: with regard to clipboards and platforms
[15:50] Aric Linden shouts: moving along here https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-454
[15:50] Daedalus Young: I know Gimp won't paste as new image when I copy one in Opera too :/
[15:50] Squirrel Wood: I wonder....
[15:50] Bridie Linden: I just re-opened 123
[15:50] Daedalus Young: Voice Beta, sounds like it'll be fixed by now
[15:50] Aric Linden: Avatar Locks Up in Voice Beta Client
[15:50] Aric Linden: last note is from last week
[15:50] Daedalus Young: thanks Bridie
[15:50] Wyn Galbraith hrms.
[15:51] Aric Linden: but the card is an intel 945
[15:51] Wyn Galbraith: Intel graphic chips will cause hanging.
[15:51] Wyn Galbraith: But what in voice could be triggering it.
[15:51] Squirrel Wood: I still do get the occassional freezes when keeping the camera still for a longer time and then suddenly moving it or turning in mouselook. from a couple secods to a total freeze. program eats up 100% cpu.
[15:51] Daedalus Young: doesn't look like the comment is related to this specific issue though
[15:51] Daedalus Young: could be anythiing
[15:51] Aric Linden: yes
[15:51] Soft Linden: This is an ancient bug
[15:51] Soft Linden: April is a very early voice build.
[15:52] Aric Linden: the card is unsupported. I don't think these are related issues
[15:52] Ciaran Laval: The comment is an intermittent issue as opposed to the permanent issue the first poster talks of
[15:52] Squirrel Wood: mayhaps it is a caching issue?
[15:52] Daedalus Young: indeed Ciaran
[15:52] Aric Linden: I'd say resolve
[15:52] Wyn Galbraith: There must be something else causing it though.
[15:52] Aric Linden looks at Rob
[15:52] Wyn Galbraith: Why would voice case the graphics to hang?
[15:53] Dale Glass: how's the Linux voice binary going, btw?
[15:53] Daedalus Young: yes, but there's nothing that suggests to me the comment absolutely has to do with voice enabled regions
[15:53] Aric Linden shrugs at Dale
[15:53] Wyn Galbraith: First problem wasn't on Intel graphics.
[15:53] Aric Linden: I don't know the details, i'm sorry to say
[15:53] Ciaran Laval: I think we need more information from Arylwen
[15:53] Soft Linden: Dale - would ping Tofu on that on sldev. He's the one testing/integrating.
[15:53] Soft Linden: I haven't heard a recent update.
[15:53] Aric Linden: I agree with Ciaran
[15:53] Dale Glass: ok
[15:54] Aric Linden: Last I heard he was getting close to a buildme
[15:54] Aric Linden: but that was a while back
[15:54] Wyn Galbraith nods more information, does it still happen maybe.
[15:54] Dale Glass: that's good to know :-)
[15:54] Aric Linden: on 454, let's ask for more info. I don't think this is a voice related issue
[15:54] Ciaran Laval: Certainly and does it happen when she disables voice and sound.
[15:54] Seg Baphomet: Considering how old this bug is I'd ask if its still present in something current. ;P
[15:55] Wyn Galbraith: 1.14
[15:55] Wyn Galbraith: That's a long time ago.
[15:55] Daedalus Young: the issue speaks of -all- voice enabled regions
[15:55] Squirrel Wood: Pardon me but I just gotta sneak https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-632 in for a couple votes ^^ (Yes! 21 votes is nowhere near enough! ^^)
[15:55] Rob Linden was clearly only half paying attn.....only now notices Aric's "looking at Rob" comment
[15:55] Daedalus Young: that would currently be everywhere
[15:55] Daedalus Young: so don't think it's still an issue
[15:55] Aric Linden: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-490
[15:55] Wyn Galbraith: LOL Rob.
[15:55] Aric Linden nods at Daedalus
[15:55] Saijanai Kuhn: I'm still workign on prototyping the dialog box for 632, Squirrel
[15:56] Aric Linden: I think it's the hardware - latitude and a 945 are a pretty basic setup
[15:56] Bridie Linden: 454 - should be 'needs more info' or 'can't repro'?
[15:56] Seg Baphomet: Needs more info.
[15:56] Aric Linden: Thanks Seg
[15:56] Aric Linden: LOD algorithm broken?
[15:57] Seg Baphomet: What the OP is complaining about is not a bug.
[15:57] Seg Baphomet: There's a possible feature request in there though.
[15:58] Squirrel Wood: dell latitude computers aren't exactly gambling machines
[15:58] Seg Baphomet: Framerate sensitive LOD may be something to play with.
[15:58] Daedalus Young: gambling isn't allowed anyway
[15:58] Seg Baphomet: But really, there's not bug here.
[15:59] Aric Linden: well, to be honest, I think this is being addressed internally anyway
[15:59] Seg Baphomet: How so?
[15:59] Aric Linden: I'm tempted to resolve with a note that says we're working on this and we won't fix this in particular
[16:00] Aric Linden: with something we're calling avatar imposters
[16:00] Seg Baphomet: Heh. Billboarding?
[16:00] Aric Linden: sort of, Seg.
[16:00] Aric Linden: you know, you ought to come by more often, Seg.
[16:00] Saijanai Kuhn: sillouets?
[16:00] Aric Linden grins
[16:00] Seg Baphomet: orly?
[16:01] Rob Linden: absolutely
[16:01] Aric Linden: absolutely?
[16:01] Aric Linden: orly?
[16:01] Aric Linden: or more often?
[16:01] Ciaran Laval: Woot
[16:01] Saijanai Kuhn looks confused
[16:01] Seg Baphomet: I dunno, I've been trying to idle in this sim.
[16:01] Ciaran Laval: Cheers Squirrel
[16:01] Seg Baphomet: Help attract a community. :)
[16:01] Aric Linden: nice
[16:02] Aric Linden: i'll try and come hang out with you once in a while.
[16:02] Bridie Linden: orly is the new ossm?
[16:02] Aric Linden: ahhhs
[16:02] Aric Linden finds it difficult to keep up with these kids these days
[16:02] Seg Baphomet: I'd really like to be able to hang around other developers again. Informally.
[16:02] Saijanai Kuhn: ossm?
[16:02] Bridie Linden: what says everyone w/490?
[16:02] Seg Baphomet: NOTABUG
[16:03] Bridie Linden: ossm was the new xlnt (a.k.a, Bridie being a lazy typer)
[16:03] Aric Linden: I'm still trying to remember to say groovy and hip
[16:03] Rob Linden: like wow man
[16:03] Daedalus Young: gnarly
[16:03] Soft Linden: Might import it and just make it a question for whoever was doing the new prefs dialog.
[16:03] Aric Linden: right on!
[16:03] Wyn Galbraith: Cool dude. Surf's up.
[16:04] Aric Linden: Thinks soft is right on regarding 490
[16:04] Seg Baphomet: The LOD is working as designed. :)
[16:04] Aric Linden: hehe
[16:04] Bridie Linden: Seg -
[16:04] Aric Linden: And with that digression, I think we've completed our session
[16:04] Wyn Galbraith: LOL
[16:04] Aric Linden: Thanks to all for coming today.
[16:04] Soft Linden: Lots done today - cool :>
[16:04] Squirrel Wood: LOD? Who needs LOD? Everyone should run a dual 8800 board on their system anyway ;)
[16:05] Daedalus Young: wow, time flies when you're discussing bugs
[16:05] Aric Linden: Special kudos to Soft and Bridie and Rob
[16:05] Ciaran Laval: To be fair that list was bug city
[16:05] Squirrel Wood: MISC-632 - Every vote counts ^^
[16:05] Aric Linden: This was a most excellent triage
