Talk:What does "SLT" stand for?

I could not hope to disagree more, with discouraging the use of SLT in Second Life. At least then you use the same short-cut, regardless of DST. What could possibly be more logical, than using Second Life Time in Second Life?

Linden Lab...please, see the logic in using the term Second Life Time in Second Life. Put SLT back where it reads either PDT or PST now. —The preceding unsigned comment was added on 19:44, 9 November 2009 by Vulcan Viper

I think that the problem with SLT is, that it requires explanation to those who aren't familiar with SL yet. Even PST/PDT aren't good from my point of view and I'd be happier with UTC, since that's ISO standard.
But this here isn't the right venue to discuss this issue. Forums for general discussion or JIRA for a request of change are more appropriate. For UTC, there's SVC-1385. When you're eager to get it changed back to SLT, it's best to create a feature request (or comment/vote on an existing one, in case there is one).
