Rules
- All submissions must be PG
- Submissions must be made before Midnight GMT, May 1st 2007
- Audio :
- Audio clips should be 30 seconds long
- Winning Audio clips should be in Ogg FLAC or zipped/7zipped/gZipped WAV, so as to avoid quantization errors when transcoding to the lossy format of choice for each individual broadcaster.
- Video:
- Video clips should be no shorter than 30 seconds long, no longer than 2 minutes.
- Winning Video clips should be available as 320x240 movie that can be played in QuickTime without any 3rd party modifications.
- Audio and Video clips must be released under a Creative Commons license

Please refrain from uploading audio clips to the SL Wiki- consider using an audio hosting service such as Odeo to host your entry
Video Submissions
Please refrain from uploading video clips to the SL Wiki- consider using an video hosting service such as youTube or blip.tv to host your entry
 | Just in case you were searching for places to archive your sound or video, take into account that this is a historic post, and services such as Odeo and Blip.tv are long gone. But YouTube is still around and it can also handle audio (up to 100,000 'songs' can be uploaded, whatever they consider a 'song' to be). For video, a good second choice is Vimeo — limited space, but no ads! |
