I'm one of the migrated Uru Live community from mid-2004, after the First Shutdown (Ubisoft) and spent my initial time here promoting its comeback. Though it was a success at first (known as Myst Online, via GameTap), we've now experienced a Second Shutdown. I've finally chosen this world as my 'primary' contact point for other community members.
The announcement of MO:RE does not change my view of SL anymore - I'm here to stay now, and will only sometimes visit the Cavern (i.e. Guard duties).
I am in the process of generating a 'Migration Guide' for those in the Myst/Uru community. It's not been a fun ride in doing so, and its appearance will be determined by how many times I get waylaid by 'rules changes.'
My interests in SL over the years have included the InnerLife biofeedback project (integrating various devices via XML-RPC) as well as a brief stint with the LibSL folks (prior to CopyBot). But, mostly, I like to talk (aka a 'Social Producer' ;P ).
