About Me
Greetings! Zepto Zhangsun is my name. I've been in Second Life since Janurary 21, 2008. My favorite in-world hobbies are the following: scripting, creating machinima, photo taking, listening to music, hanging out with friends, leading a military, and especially helping others! What else do you want me to tell you?
Scripting
Personally, I think scripts are the "souls of all objects". Scripts are like a nucleus in a cell, or the city hall---telling things what to do. At first, when I started scripting, it was such a challenging subject is learn about. Some of my thoughts I've said in my mind in the past was the following:
- "What's the real meaning of a script?"
- "Scripting is so hard!"
- "I can't do this!"
- "I don't know how those advanced scripters learned all this."
- "Ahh! So many events and functions!"
Then one day, I found out about LSL (Linden Scripting Language) Wiki (LSL Wiki), a wiki all about scipting (including events and functions)! I basically studied the LSL Wiki, sometimes I take a look at my scripts that I've received from other residents and study them, too. Scripting has been my hobby ever since then! Sometimes, scripting gives me some profit when I help others with their scripting (which is optional to them; I'm not greedy about money, I just like to help others).
Creating Machinima
Machinima is basically recording in a virtual world! It has been a great hobby of mine! I can help others (tutorials, ect.), make entertainment, movies, commercials, all by making machinima in Second Life! I love to watch YouTube videos (especially the subject "Second Life"), pretty interesting if you haven't taken a peak YouTube - "Second Life" Subject! Some people have asked me, "What program do you use to create machinima" or "Can you help me out with machinima making?" Well, I use Fraps to record my programs and that's what I tell them whenever they want to start creating machinima. Making machinima without any recording software? Zepto Zhangsun chuckles.
Photo taking
Smile! Hehehe. Photo taking can save so many memories! Ever wanted to take a snapshot of your whole screen? Press "Print Screen", then open up "Paint", and then paste (CTRL + V). Tada! Interested in taking a peek at my photo collection? Feel free to visit my Snapzilla! Now, say cheese!
Listening to music
I love music! What genre of music do I listen to? Well, I listen to rap, hip-hop, and R&B. I've listened to music ever since I can remember. One of my person has asked me, "Do you always listen to music?" Why, yes. I listen to music while playing Second Life. I thank Linden Labs for installing a music player in Second Life. It's a big use for me. Do you listen to music? If so, what genere?
Hanging out with friends
Friends. Can't live without 'em.
Helping others
I like to help others success and meet their goal. As stated above, I like to help others with scripting and creating machinima the most. I've received lots of help in the past. So helping others back is the right thing for me to do. It's now a hobby of mine. So, need help with anything?
