Korean Translations

Heyas Teresia =)
I saw your Korean translations in the Wiki and was wondering if you'd want to help out with some terms which we'd need in korean, in order to localize parts of the Help and LSL Portal. These are stored here (Help Portal) and here (LSL Portal). It would really be a big help if you could look at either of these pages in case you got some spare time :-)

Wow, thank you very much! =)
Re:Where it will be used: there is a so called Help Header above every article connected to the Help Portal. There is a translation of this help header in Korean already but it's not well made so far... It needs to be implemented in more (connected) templates in order to work the way as it's intended. So I wanted to "start from scratch" with a clean translation. Zai signature.png Lynch (talk|contribs) 00:18, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Oh sorry, I didn't clarify it right. I meant: Korean translations for for the terms linked to Mentor Linguists/LSL Cat L10n (not for the page itself). So that doesn't hurt either ^^. Sorry :-S

Oh heyas! Just saw your changes to the LSL articles. LSL articles are a very own kind of articles since they heavily relay on so called "templates". These are (besides other uses) a way to unify style and content of pages. For example, the {{multi-lang}} code was a template (Template:Multi-lang) and used to add this language bar header. There are lots (and lots, and lots...) of templates for the LSL portal and these would need localization first, before you can use them for LSL articles.
@Categories: I'd not recommend to redirect these at this very moment. The connected articles will still be included in the old categories since the templates tell them too. We'd like to do a bulk edit to fix the category translation problem in about a week or two, when more people contributed to the list. Until this is finished, I'd recomment not to redirect exisiting categories to others. However, you can of cours translate their content. For example, there are pages linked to the LSL Portal Translation Project. These are all LSL related. Then there are some linked to the Mentor Linguist Scribe Translation Project. Furthermore, there are also 2 categories that got all pages missing korean translations. These are:
So there's lots of stuff available :-)

I think I should know about the wiki syntax first before I make any more korean version of articles. I guess I should find out and read those articles, before summerizing them for later reference. <Teresia Renfold 04:50, 24 December 2008 (UTC)>
