The Linden Memorial Park is designed to be a permanent place for inworld memorials to disasters outside of Second Life that affect our Residents. If you would like to hold a memorial event, we have four Regions available (Highgate/Monument/Derran Moor/Winterspire) within the Linden Memorial Park.

== Requesting a memorial event==
Effective July 2011, Linden Memorial Park will no longer accept new requests for memorials. However, Linden Memorial Park will remain open and existing memorials to those who passed away will not be altered or removed. Memorial events in Linden Memorial Park:
 
* Must be open to all.
* Must  be {{mrg}} rated.
* Must  not be religiously or polictially sensitive.
* Last no longer than one day.
 
In addition, you must:
* Make reservations in advance; space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Include a full description of the event when applying.
* Not terraform the land in Linden Memorial Park.
* Not own the land or transfer the land during the event.

Effective July 2011, Linden Memorial Park will no longer accept new requests for memorials. However, Linden Memorial Park will remain open and existing memorials to those who passed away will not be altered or removed. Linden Memorial Park is located here.
