Group chat failures are a complex problem. There are many possible
ways chat can fail. Here's how you can help fix the problem.

As a first step, please collect a list of all error messages you see
when using group chat. Copy the errors exactly as you see them, and
put them on a page located below:

* Create the page if you're the first one with information.
* Don't worry about adding lots of details. This should be a short
list without repeats or lots of extra notes.
* Give everyone a few days to add their errors, since different resis
often experience different problems.

Once we're sure we have a list, we can create a survey to collect more
information. We'll ask about the computers, internet connections, time
of day, and other factors common to these errors. If we're lucky, we
can help the dev teams better understand what's failing.

*JUne 8 2009 - 6:34pm Eastern Daylight TIME - "Unable to send your message to the chat session with Kingdom of Laurelin. Error making request, please try later." Same error at 6:35 & 6:36

* "Unable to send your message to the chat session with New Citizens Inc.. Error making request"
* "Unable to start a new session with New Citizens Inc.. The session no longer exists" - this can appear before group IM has been opened. It looks like it happens because another group member sent an IM to the group (normally this would open the group IM tab). Group IM tab opens briefly, while this dialog appears, and the group IM tab closes.
* "Error messaging chat session with Friends of Raglan Shire. Error making request. Please try again later". * "Unable to send your message to the chat session with New Citizens Inc.. Error making request" June 8, 18:00 SLT. I initiated NCI group chat after receiving Carl Metropolitan's notice that he had turned NCI chat back on. I received a message, then tried to send my own. The first two times I got this error immediately; the third try was successful. Same with my next message. Then my next message posted immediately, with the next message taking two tries.
