#What was the result of Motor&#039;s idea to be able to remove the avatar&#039;s collision when sitting on an object? I can find a few decent uses for that as well, and as long as the collision type is restored when unsitting (unlinking from the object), I don&#039;t see much reason it shouldn&#039;t be considered. # Is there a workaround for the fixed pelvis position for rigged mesh avatars which are not standard avatar height or may have joint offsets? Sitting on unscripted objects while wearing an AO (with custom-made animations) produces unexpected results - in my case with smaller avatars, i am always floating at the same level and cannot change this regardless of where the pelvis is recorded in the animation. # In the latest release and beta viewers (244864 and 245931) the mesh uploader requires BOTH that the number of materials in each LOD has to be the same AND that the names of the materials (the material attributes of &amp;lt;triangles&amp;gt; or &amp;lt;polys&amp;gt; tags) of lower LODs must be a subset of those of the high LOD. This is equivalent to simply requiring that the set of materials must be identical for all LODs. In that context, the error message (issued only in the beta viewer) that mentions subsets is not meaningful, and the error message in both about number of materials is inadequate. This suggests that the reversion (from an earlier beta) to reqiring the same number of materials may be a mistake. Please indicate if that is so or if the reversion was deliberate. # JIRA Issue SH-2374, originally opened by Maxwell Graf, was requesting rigged mesh respond to the standard avatar appearance morph sliders as well as bone changes. Those would be a multiplier and addition or subtraction of the underlying skin movement to apply to the attached mesh. Bias would also control render order, so outer layers would always render last and thus show over lower layers. The point of this feature is to conform attached meshes to the user&#039;s preferred shape, rather than the unhappy situation now where we have to conform the avatar shape to fit the mesh attachment.
