There is a Creative Commons License Machine at various places in Second Life. There is one at the CC headquarters and one at the Nota Bene notary in Obscure.

The machine leads you through a series of questions to select a Creative Commons license for a work. When done, it rezs a small "badge" prim that you can attach to the work or leave near it. The badge shows the type of license and can produce detailed information when touched.
