New page

My name is Americo Damasceno and I am a brazilian electrical engineer. Having worked for IBM all my professional life, now I am retired (63 years...) and only writing some books about IT (14 published until now, in portuguese and spanish).

I have tried VMRL, Director 3D, Atmosphere and Croquet but appears that Second Life + OpenGrid + OpenSim are the ultimate answer for internet 3D worlds. I like to call them: the SLOGOSphere.

My email is: americo at dmu.com

I have a site ( http://www.dmu.com ) presenting many old tutorials about Director 3D, Atmosphere, Croquet etc. but all are out of date.
