== Instructions pour l’utilisation de la voix dans Second Life ==

La fonctionnalité de la voix est maintenant disponible dans la version Beta de Second Life (voice beta grid) et dans la version "First Look" (main grid). Cette note fut créée avec le but d’aider à utiliser cette nouvelle fonction.

Avant d’utiliser la voix dans Second Life vous devrez suivre les indications suivantes:

:* Connecter et tester le microphone et les écouteurs de l’ordinateur. C’est important d’utiliser des écouteurs cars les haut-parleurs provoquent de l’écho. Vous pourrez tester la voix avec « Voice Recorder » sur Windows et « System PreferencesÞSoundÞOutput et Input » sur Mac OSX avant de la tester dans Second Life.

:* Télécharger et installer [http://www.secondlife.com/community/firstlook.php la version First Look de Second Life]. Avant que le « client » soit disponible sur le « main grid », pour tester la voix vous pouvrez utiliser le « client » « beta voice ». [http://www.secondlife.com/community/bhear.php Cette version est disponible ici].

:* Fermer les autres programmes qui utilisent le micro et les écouteurs. Le client de Second Life doit les contrôler.

:* Ouvrir le client et entrer sur Second Life. Une fois que vous avez démarré le client « voice beta » vous devrez mettre le nom de votre avatar ainsi que le mot de passe. Utiliser les mêmes que ceux du « main grid ». Une fois rendu dans le client vous noterez que le monde est beaucoup plus restreint que celui du (main grid)

:* Vérifiez la configuration de votre ordinateur. Cliquez sur Editer y ensuite Préférences. Sur la fenetre qui apparaît, cliquer sur « Voice Chat ». Cochez l’option qui est a la gauche de « Use Push-to-talk mode ». Décocher la marque a gauche de « Push-to-talk act as a toggle ». Sans changer les autres configurations vous pourrez peser sur le bouton central de la souris pour parler. Pour changer cette fonction cliquez sur « Set Key » y pesez la touche que vous aimeriez utiliser pour parler. Vous devrez choisir une touche a partir de la liste.

: If you can't use voice at all, visit http://www.testmyvoip.com and test your connection. If you fail these tests, you won't be able to use voice in Second Life: this could be due to firewall restrictions or problems with your router's configuration.
