I've done a simple test, and it works with UTF-8 characters as well (no emoji support, of course, but the rest is available, including many pictograms etc.). Things look quite different depending on the viewer, though; Firestorm (as of 6.5.3 (65658) on macOS) will just display 3-4 UTF-8 characters on the old-style 'wheel' menu, for example. | |||

Aye, it works with UTF-8!
I've done a simple test, and it works with UTF-8 characters as well (no emoji support, of course, but the rest is available, including many pictograms etc.).
