I've been in SL for almost a year. I'm happiest when I'm building. I tend to be nitpicky on my builds at times but that's just because I want it to be the best it can be. I like big projects on grand scales. Public spaces and inviting vistas. I HATE cookie-cutter rows of boxes builds. I try to incorporate light and shadow, making my builds as nice looking at night as they are in full daylight. I've been known to create my own textures from time to time when needed. I also understand the importance of sound and it's effect on the visitor. The proper sound environment can turn a nice build into an intoxicatingly emersive environment. I produce all my own custom sounds.
