I think every way will relay basically on the same option (<noinclude>-tags). Another implementation would be to define a tester variable that only operates on the article. Like
<noinclude>{{#vardefine:test|*}}</noinclude>
on top of the artcile and use
{{Specific Instruction|{{#var:test|}}|text}}
to call the template. I don't think it's an improvement of your version. Just another way to do the same thing.
