==About a fr43k==
I was born on March 9th 2007 and hit the ground of Orientation Island.
Well, I spent 2 days there, before I found the teleport feature but then I spent hours and hours in SL, exploring, and collecting freebies as there was no tomorrow!
Although I was a bit disappointed, because for some odd reason I did not meet a single person for days, but I decided to give SL a chance. Also it was difficult to get into SL because everything was in english, even my client. A lot of new words I had to learn, but with the time I learned where was what and edited my profile and appearance.
Finally, after a whole week I met a girl and two guys, who had a  discussion about money.
Well, I was still a bit lost, no idea where to go and what to do... so I stood there and was just happy I had some company, until one guy asked the girl to give him some money.
Of course she denied and paid me instead! I felt uncomfortable at this point but she said it would be ok and her friend gave me some more money as well. This way I became the richest newbie in SL as I would guess. :)
So, I had money and nothing to do... I liked the freebie wings a lot, so I decided to visit a store to buy some wings. This way I found Material Squirrel and purchased my favorite item in SL ever!
Huge wings! I was really proud and happy and startedto sort my inventory, what took over 6 hours.
Since then I always sort things into folders, sub-folder and categories...never such a session again.
However, with my pair of wings an my back I went on exploring SL and met a nice artist named Ro Gastel.
Ro is awesome. He was impressed by the wings and offered me a little job as model. I was very happy there was a better way to earn some money than escorting. *ugh*
He was very patient and explained me lot of the SLs basics, how to build and also showed me other aspects of SL like photography.
But after a while I was gronw up and went on exploring SL. I am very thankful Ro always put his trust in me and motivated me to go on.
After about 3 months I found New Citizens Incorporated ( NCI ) and spent the mosttime there. I helped a lot of new residents there, like Ro helped me. Finally I gaot graduated as official NCI Helper and after some more months I became NCI Officer and was allowed to teach my first Q&A class.
From there on I tought more and more classes, met a lot of new people, made a lot of SL friends and got more and more involved into NCI.
Now I am a NCI teacher, responsible for the AdNode System and Business Forum. Additionally I signed for SecondLife Mentors to help more people right at the beginning, so they won`t be that lost as I was before. I got accepted - woohoo! and now I switch between NCI and the SL MEntors group from time to time. I liketo be a "Ninja Mentor" as we cal lit. You don`t see me, but if help needed I am there. :)
At the moment I am working on my own items and hope I can stay for a long, long, long time in SL, because it makes me just happy to be here.
